If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time! Check-In We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid. Damage Deposit We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost. Smoking To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available. Noise To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!) Feb 26, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, location Disliked: Communication #### 2 days in Hove Booked 2 nights in hove to visit relatives. Booked through VRBO, although it was my getaways that dealt with payment, check in and management. Check in was difficult. I never received the relevant email which provided address key access codes etc. After many text messages and calls eventually got the check in details about 45 mins late! Property was nice and clean, however a number of blinds were broken. The skylight blind in the kids bedroom was just hanging from the ceiling, and a number of Venetian blinds bent or missing. I called my getaways and they sent someone out to take a look at the issue. They taped the skylight blind to the ceiling, so unable to open in the morning, and mentioned that blinds had previously been damaged by other tenants.This proved to be frustrating as they let in so much light during the night due to a security light which kept switching on and off all night.2 nights of bad sleep had by all occupants! I put in a complaint to my getaways with th regards to this issue and they took over a week to come back with absolutely nothing. Not even a gesture of refund of the security deposit which you have to pay for any breakages during your stay. Maybe they should have informed me prior that the blinds were broken, as I wouldn’t have stayed at the property. So overall a disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend my getaways. ##### Paul c.
