The room was clean and the location of my particular unit was very convenient. However, It needed updating. The furniture and carpeting was old and worn.

Had a great experience there while on vacation. The physical building could use some TLC and upgrades. The staff made up for it by being very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

My family and I stayed a few nights at the Staybridge while we visited Houston. We enjoyed out stay. The staff was friendly, the room was comfy, the wifi was speedy, and the breakfast was good. We booked a 1 bedroom suite. The living room area was a bit smaller than I had expected. The bedroom was spacious and comfy. Sofa bed was convenient for the kids to sleep on. In all, we enjoyed our stay.

Smell ya later Staybrige Suites
When we turned on the thermostat we noticed a smell of cigars or marihuana. We though someone was smoking in the hallway since there were some younger adolescents out and about. We sprayed some fabreeze and called the front desk to complain. we never heard anything so I went out into the hallway. I noticed that the hallway did not smell so we figured someone had sprayed something to get rid of the smell. When I walked back into the room I noticed it was coming from inside our room. we went downstairs to explain the situation, and they said they had no rooms available of the same type. that we would have to pay more. I was very upset, but we couldn't stay in that smelly room. we moved to the other room and things got a bit better from there. I booked a room that was a no smoking room and that wasn't the case. I would suggest that they do a better job of enforcing the rules and not make someone pay more because of the ineptness of their staff. I make it a point to look for the staybridge brand when possible, but this experience has me thinking twice about that now.

We arrived to discover that I had book a room that did not suit our needs, so I spoke with the front desk attendant, Angela, and she was very helpful in switching us to a room more suited to our family needs. Thank you Angela! The room, however, was disappointing in that it needed serious cosmetic fixes. The A/C was literally in the bedroom with a door that was unlocked. I had a 1 year old with me and we constantly had to make sure something was holding that door shut. Seems like a liability to keep that door with no way to secure it. The amount of money people spend to stay here should be better put to use making the rooms more pleasing to the eyes. You pay more to not stay at a run down hotel, but honestly this hotel looked like one of those places.

Nice clean place, very friendly staff, only problem was the breakfast. No hot food, just some yoghurt or some awful pre packaged bagels. For families on a budget, this is a big deal. My reservation said breakfast included and it certainly was not what you would reasonably expect

Nice stay, bad service
The room was nice and clean. The girl at the front desk was not very good at her job. She tried to tell us our sons service dog was restricted to certain areas, but it was cleared up by a manager. I asked the girl for a blanket, she gave me a mattress topper. Every time I went down for drinks or anything she was on a personal call and not very helpful.
