This stay was everything I hoped for and more. The property was exactly as described - beautifully modern, spacious, and filled with warm touches that made it feel instantly comfortable. The exposed‑beam kitchen and living area were stunning, and the views from the windows made the whole place feel open and peaceful.The hosts are exceptional. One of them was actually my former principal, and he met me at the property to make sure everything went smoothly. That personal care meant a lot and set the tone for a truly seamless stay.I left feeling refreshed, welcomed, and grateful. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful woodwork and piano, kitchen was perfect, bedrooms felt luxurious. We were there for a long weekend, but the space would be ideal for entertaining for a holiday. Owl center below the rental has fantastic programming, and the Root River bike trail was a block away. Definitely recommend!

Just stayed at this gorgeous rental The owners went above and beyond what you you usually get with these rentals. Nice touches like providing bottled waters,snacks coffee etc. The place was full of high end furnishings and appliances. Quality bedding, furniture and linens. Owner met us and showed us how to run everything along with a quick tour. Location was excellent for our needs Will definitely be back

Root River Trail Ride

This property is amazing and even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Very comfortable and quiet. Rick was very helpful and showed us a few things when we arrived. It was a couple of blocks from the trail head to the Root River Trail which was beautiful! It was perfect for 2 couples. We will definitely stay again! Thank you Rick!

Beautifully unique!

Newly remodeled; very clean; great comfortable beds; large number of thick, soft towels; awesome view; terrific appliances; lovely decor; reasonable access to nearby attractions; located in a quiet, quaint little town with nice people. There are 23 steps in the stairway up to the loft. Doable for us though if you are physically unable to tackle them, you need to know. The kind owner/manager helped us carry some of our stuff upstairs. Thanks Rick! We enjoyed our stay!

Your secret Owl Hideout!

This is the classiest apartment in Houston County. It felt like I was some kind of Bruce Wayne with a secret hideout right above Owl headquarters. Hosts are incredibly accommodating and it is an easy stay for the International Owl Center!

Beautiful Loft in the heart of Houston

I had the most incredible week at the Houston VRBO Loft. Since my visit was during Christmas, they decorated a gorgeous Christmas tree for my stay. They thought of all the little details, from coffee, fruit, beverages in the fridge, shampoo, decorations, board games, and music on the TV when I arrived- to ensure my stay was comfortable. The loft has beautiful wood floors, vaulted ceilings with gorgeous exposed beams, French doors to the bedrooms, granite countertops, comfy leather couches and chairs, lovely lamps and sconces lining the hallway, and a great view of the city. As a pianist, it was a dream to play the baby grand piano. It was the perfect holiday stay. This will be my go-to place to stay when I visit Houston for years to come. It is the perfect addition to the town and a remarkable transformation from a landmark old brick-building department store. A few specifics:-cleanliness: The loft was immaculately clean.-Location: It is right in the heart of Houston, within walking distance of everything.-Amenities: The bathroom had all the essentials. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans, a Keurig, etc.-Host communication: The host was very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed.-Comfort: The beds and the space were very comfortable.
