Gutes Hotel in Flughafennähe

Waren vor unserem Rückflug dort gebucht und als Flughafennahes Hotel zweckmäsig untergebracht - ausgesprochen positiv war das relativ umfangreiche Frühstückbuffet.

Shuttle

Waited 50 mins for shuttle. Called hotel 3 times kept being told a few more minutes Ended up taking a cab No apology or anything from staff.

They dropped the ball this time

We stay at this hotel with some regularity for the following reasons: It is one of the closest hotels to the airport which has non stop flights to many international and most continental destinations that is within driving distance of my home. It has parking through a company which has long term parking which we have used for as much as 2 weeks. It has shuttle service to the airport every 30 minutes. It has clean comfortable rooms and has an adequate free breakfast bar. Across the parking lot is a 24 hour cafe which has great comfort food when you are returning from a extended visit overseas during which you had been denied the likes of chicken fried steak and biscuits with sausage gravy. On top of all that the price is reasonable. Unfortunately they blew it when we arrived late in the evening to check in, advised that we would take the 6:00 shuttle for a 7:23 departure only to find the shuttle full at 6am. I believe that it is the duty of the hotel to make sure they have enough shuttles to handle all the passengers that needs them.

ok. Had problems with parking and parking area .

Staffs are very nice, but Ramada Inn's condition is bad. It has little mice, No parking. Really bad condition.

My Review of The Room

Pros: The pool was nice but with all the heat from the air condition units, it made sitting by the pool a very warm experience.
Cons: Larger rooms and accommodations, and lower prices for the room sizes.
Location: I was able to walk across the parking lot to a diner that served breakfast lunch and dinner. It was a great location.
First of all the staff at the desk was very nice and polite. Then when we entered the room we were not impressed but we made do with what we had. I thought that because it was the Ramada I could expect better but as it turned out I was very disappointed. The room was very small, we had to put our luggage under the table and behind the bed. There was only one chair in the room and it was broken. The restroom was also very small. The beds were very comfortable but the air conditioner ran constantly and the room never did get cool and for this to be a large hotel chain they were running short on washcloths so between four people we had to share one washcloth the first night and on the second day we managed to get another one so we had one between two people.

Overall this hotel was so so. The building was a bit old and needed repairs (which some were done with tape). The parking was terrible, there are not enough spaces and will have to park in a field out behind the hotel. However the location was great being close to the airport and right off the beltway. Lastly the staff was very helpful and courteous and made out say a good one.

Very disappointed

Staff were not friendly or helpful...hot breakfast sucked...never had any clean towels...room never got cleaned whole time...staff had to search for a roll of tissue...parking sucked, never any spaces available....room key stopped working first night...u could just walk into hotel side doors without a key...i did see a questionable bug crawling on the sink that look similar to a roach
