Hotel needs an upgrade!!

The hotel staff was nice, but the hotel needs some serious upgrade... Old rooms, basic clean and really bad wifi reception. Good bed though.

Good location, fairly rundown

Pros: The staff was pleasant but not of the highest level
Cons: Everything about the building could be improved.
Location: There's many restaurants around but also quite a bit of construction thus making it somewhat hard to get by.
This hotel looks like it looked wonderful many years ago but since has suffered the years of wear and tear to where it looks like it hasn't been updated for many years. I was expecting much more than this but was disappointed when our room had wallpaper peeling off the walls, paint chipped in the bathtub, and the outside of the hotel looked worn. The staff was adequate and kind.

Old Hotel

There were big stains on the sheets, YUCK! Bathtub was clogged and the telephone in the room didn't work! The bar tender in the 1st floor bar has the personality of a rock. I don't think she likes her job too much! Appeared to have several hookers hanging around. Just glad I didn't pay full price and wouldn't recommend it!

it was clean and comfortable but run down and old..when checking in no one was at the front desk and I had to yell "excuse me" 3 times before someone came to the front..the neighborhood did not seem very safe..i would not stay here again

I had a wonderful time though it was during dart competition which caused an over flow of individuals in the elevator. this lead to one breaking down making one usable but the stairs were closed.

VERY MUCH WORTH THE PRICE

Cons: UPDATED
Location: LOTS OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN THE IMMEADIATE AREA. WE WERE DOING FAMILY X-MAS AND WE WERE FROM THE AREA SO THAT IS WHAT WE DID
WHEN WE CHECKED IN WE NEEDED A REFRIGERATOR THERE WAS NOT ONEIN THE ROOM BUT WITHIN 5 MINUTES ONE WAS DELIVERED TO THE ROOM . STAFF A THE FRONT DEAK WAS EXCELLENT. ROOM WAS DATED BUT CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE ,WELL WORTH THE PRICE.THE ONLY ISSUE WAS IF THE RESTURANT WAS GOING TO BE OPEN FOR BREAKFAST ON X-MAS DAY SOME CONFUSION ABOUT THIS AND IT WASN'T BUTTHIS PARTICULAR DAY I UNDERSTAND AND IT WORKED OUT. OVERALL A SOLID 4.

Terrible customer service - with one exception

When I first approached the front desk I was the only one in line and there were two people standing behind the desk, one male and one female. The female totally ignored me, did not greet me with a hello or how can I help you, but then walked away for me and then started helping someone who came in after I did. The man was very friendly throughout the whole experience. Once we had checked into our room, everything was fine until the next day the room was cold and we tried to turn the heater on which caused a terrible smell to fill the room and the smoke alarm to go off - not just in our room but in every room downstairs. it wasn't just a regular smoke alarm, it was in a emergency evacuation alarm At 11 am on a Sunday. When I called the front desk for help they hung up on me. Second time I called to question why they hung up on me the friendly gentleman answered the phone and handled the situation with ease. Seriously, this guy deserves a raise. compared to how terrible the other people work there are, I sincerely mean that. We're going on day four and I still have yet to receive my deposit. I just called to ask when I would receive it and a woman named Rita answered the phone and was extremely rude. I told her it had now been four days since I've received my deposit and she said "it's Tuesday. it takes five business days." I can honestly say that I've never stayed in a hotel that took me five business days to get my deposit back. I do not recommend this hotel.

Basic hotel.

Pros: The bar and restaurant.
Cons: The bath tub.
Location: There is construction everywhere.
Not a good experience. The staff was not helpful at all.
