This hotel is a cut above most of the mid-size hotels in the market. The rooms are all suites, the culture of the staff is one of true hospitality, and the prices are reasonable. Great restaurants within walking distance. Try Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen.
Very clean & comfortable. Five minute walk to House of Blues & several bars & restaurants. If you have to stay in downtown this is a great place. The only downside was one particular valet who was extremely rude & I suspect took a joy ride in my vehicle but can't prove it.
I left the card out for ordering breakfast. It was not picked up overnight. I then attempted to order breakfast at 6:30 a.m. I was told it would be delivered in 20-25 minutes. I called at 7:15 and again at 7:30. I canceled the order because I had to leave. Delivery was attempted after I canceled.
young lady at the front desk was really accommodating once i checked in. the check out personnel, however was not as accommodating. i arranged to have the hotel shuttle take me to my interview the night before. i double checked with the front desk that morning and he looked at me as if i were speaking a foreign language. i ended up having to pay for a cab because they couldn't arrange a shuttle service even though one of the only reasons i chose this hotel was for the shuttle. otherwise, great hotel. they have a complimentary dinner at night in the lobby (no room service) - not a lot of options but they had complimentary beer and wine and the staff was really nice. they also have a breakfast in the morning (lots of options). the room was very spacey. would definitely stay again
It was very convenient to where I was going to be while in Houston. It was quiet and very relaxed. I don't believe I'd been in a room before that had so many clean kitchen amenities for such a low price. The staff was very nice. I'd look forward to staying there again.
