My room was very hot and when I called the front desk to talk to them about it I was told the A/C was shut off for the 'winter' so there was nothing they could do.

Our air conditioning is controlled by the ambient temperature outside and was fully functional during your stay. We are sorry to hear that you had an issue with the heat and we will have our Maintenance team check into the unit in your room to ensure everything is in good working order. Tidy room, comfortable bed, reasonable price. Decent, semi industrial location with plenty of dining options nearby. 2 shortcomings: - HVAC system loud and of questionable effectiveness - A very loud family decided to hang out for several hours in corridor outside my room (admittedly not really hotels fault)

Pillows are terrible. We had the room with jet tub, and was right beside a light on the building so the bedroom lit right up as new true black out blinds. Very little sleep as a result. And on top of that the water for the tub barely got warm. Breakfast was just okay, eggs were runny, sausage very tough, and hashbrowns cold.

I took advantage of the pool, whirlpool and fitness facilities. Might I suggest having a double arm's length dowel available to assist with warm-ups. It was nice to have a mat available for warm-ups - but it was at that point I noticed the floor needed some attention - just a quick sweep. But all in all I very much appreciated being able to work out; then enjoy the pool and whirlpool. Plus we had a pet-friendly room which I'm sure Bailey appreciated being able to tag along for the trip.

Room upgrade was nothing noticeable from regular room. Front desk didn't seem to want to give us an upgrade at all, even tho she brought it up. Still the room and hotel was great
