Staff were SUPER friendly.
We were told that we paid for the first night but not the second night. the receipt I got from hotels.com said it was paid in full. Had to go back through my bank statements to see that hotels.com in fact only took half the amount out of my account, even though I picked the paid in full option. They said it happens all the time with Expedia.
No parking on site.
Only one flight of stairs to climb with luggage and ski equipment.
Room was very small. We booked a king size bed but only got a queen. Decided not to say anything because I was already embarrassed about arguing that I had paid in full for the stay.
There’s a small desk and a hanging rack, but no dresser for clothes, or even really an area big enough to leave a suitcase open without tripping on it.
Bathroom is so small & there was a small standup shower, with a head too low to shower under. The water changed extreme temperature 5x within a 10 min shower.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was WAY too hot at night, had to open the window all the way, could not turn the heat down (December) and was still too warm to fall asleep. Hubby left for a walk mid day & told housekeeping we didn’t need them to come in (no do not disturb signs). I hopped in the shower and came out to a very embarrassed housekeeper in our room. Rooms were also not sound proof at all. Could hear people walking/talking etc clear as day from 6 rooms down the hall. Dogs barking in rooms were also not fun.
