"This was my 20th time to this resort. We keep returning as it’s very clean. We have made friends with a lot of the staff and get spoken to by our names and “welcome home”. The food just keeps getting better! I love the coffee shop! The service is exceptional in all areas of the resort. The drinks are good with a great variety of brands of liquor as well as beer. The entertainment is good variety for a family resort. The spa offers great options. I always get at least 1 massage. Our only suggestions are: 1.) bring back the vendors that used to sell in the lobby or around the pool. We have a collection of the paintings and have been unable to locate the artists that did them. And we would love more. 2.) Have more reasonable priced tanning products and kids toys in the resorts store. We found it to be very expensive and didn’t buy things there. "

"This is our 3rd trip to Las Americas. The facilities are nice. The only drawback is if you don't claim your seats around the pool by 7:00, you'll have to go to the beach. This has gotten worse with every visit. It's a little frustrating to see chairs sitting with towels on them until afternoon and no one in them. Small issue"

"We truly enjoyed our stay. We shutdown and relax and the Royal Sands provides the setting. The buffet is really good for breakfast and lunch but dinner is meh. There are other dining options, but we do not want to have to make reservations and be on any time schedules so we just stick with the buffet which was our choice. It's not terrible, but dinners are not fabulous. "
