During winter weather, things can get a bit sketchier than your ex’s excuses, so please check in with us first if you’re not rolling with 4WD. The cabin itself had privacy, beautiful scenery, a wonderful hot tub with antislip coating (jets get excited if the water gets a little low from use so definitely lower the cover when not in use just in case), plenty of seating throughout the home, and plenty of tv options for relaxed viewing. The home was well stocked with spices, utensils, coffee needs, and so much more. The front swing and firepit area was perfect for smores so don't forget your marshmellow sticks. The drive to the cabin is a bit steep but we had no problems at all in my Toyota Highlander. The directions to the cabin were precise and the owners were very easy to contact if needed. Ron Coleman Crystal mines and Hot Springs is just a 15min striaght drive from this location, so very easy to navigate. They also have a wonderful water sprayer to rinse your finds before heading home. The only thing that could have made it better for us would have been a slightly larger mattress in the individual room downstairs. Beyond that a perfect stay for us.
