There is a $500 fully refundable damage and fuel deposit that will need to be paid before using the pontoon. If you love the lake life you will love this home! This house features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms,King bed,2 queen beds plus bunk beds. A separate game/bar room with a 55 in flat screen TV. The backyard has views of the lake, covered deck. A short walk down below is the bar with Bluetooth sound systems, tv, darts and more with awesome views right by the lake. On the the water! Family fun park next door! Nutrition store , liquor store Cajun Broilers (awesome food) directly across the channel with boat parking and dominos pizza 3 doors down walk or order by boat from there boardwalk! I contacted the Host prior to my stay about the ice storm coming, and asked if I could pay more to change weekends or cancel so I could receive 1/2 my payment back, but the Host was adamant that we wait and see what the weather was going to do. The weekend before my stay, a huge ice storm came in. I contacted Host again. He assured me everything was going to be fine. When I get there, the front yard and driveway were covered in ice so of course my car gets stuck. Contacted the host again. He said I’ll send someone over to help. 18 hours later his manager Justin shows up and said he would clear the drive and help me get unstuck. Instead he leaves and tells the host that I refused his help. So I’m stuck with no food or drinks and had to get a tow truck in order to get out. Raymond the host was very rude and kept making up excuses blaming me the whole time. I have videos of the tow truck having a hard time trying to help me because of the ice. Raymond left me in a dangerous situation and out even more money. Had to leave because I shouldn’t have to hire a tow truck every time I wanted to go somewhere. The bed linens had to be washed before I could lay down because they smelled like a wet dog. The tvs wouldn’t work half the time. The house is older but has some nice updates and was very clean.The boat it came with was fantastic for some fun on the lake. We enjoyed tubing, cruising and stopping for lakeside dinners. ( we brought a tube, ropes, and child life vest) The boat has all the basics that are required. It is an older boat, but worked great and such a cost savings versus a rental from the marinas. It is a bit of an arduous walk down/up the hill from the house to the dock, so be sure you have everything you need. It wouldn't be suited for someone with mobility issues. I walked down to the bar then through it to use the stairs. ![Woohoo! My wife and I visited for our wedding anniversary. House was clean, nicely appointed, and the location on the lake was amazing! We highly recommend staying here and doing some fishing. We caught a ton of fish on the lake, and the boat was great to have at our disposal. Overall, we cannot recommend it enough. ##### Matthew H. However, very small. The bunk beds are located in the livingroom. The bar is down a very steep hill, floor covered in moss, pool table is minature size. The location is not condusive to dock swimming as it's a back cove and very dirty. The boat is worn quite a bit with tears in the seats, the guages didn't work and neither did the prop trim. In the house, the AC didn't work upon arival and the men had to do something to the breakers to get it to work. The beds were very uncomfortable, pillows were uncomfortable too. All the towels were located in the masterbath, none in the second bath and the toilet paper was like one ply sandpaper. Only a couple of Kcups were provided. Not enough for everyone to have coffee the first morning. We often stay at VRRO's. This one was disappointing for the money we spent. ##### Micah D. I stayed here with my husband and some friends for a relaxing weekend on the lake, and we had the best time! Took the pontoon boat out and enjoyed the lake. The place was fine, nothing special. This is the place even tho it’s close to all you or your family could need it’s very peaceful. The owner Ray did an amazing job in having all the things at his property that most of us forget will need. Check in was a breeze and let’s not forget the fact his 22 ft pontoon boat is icing on the already great vacation which runs like a champ and just as much set up with all you need to cruise down the lake or even get some fishing in. Even if you’re not an expert boat person this small yacht is easy to handle. We will most certainly be back. ##### Sean P. However the description fails to say that it is a sterp slope down to boat dock and playroom. Boat was questionable in quality so we ended up not using it. Beautiful bsck porch, we spent several hours there. Big step down in master bedroom to bathroom. Another problem for me. So it was ok and our trip was ok ##### Susie A.
