Every restaurant you could want is within a mile or two. We had a tiny issue with the lock on the door when we arrived, but the host responded IMMEDIATELY and resolved the problem. We ended up staying at the unit next door because of the lock problem, but it was literally a mirror image of this unit. It was just my daughter and me in town for a softball tournament and this unit was perfect. She didn't even care to pull out the sofa bed, she said the couch was perfectly fine. I can't speak to the lake part -but it was close. It was an 11 minute drive to both Majestic and Kimery ballparks though - so super easy if you travel here for softball. Will definitely rent this unit again if we play another tournament here. No complaints! ##### Reagan A. It was a 10-15 minute drive to and from the park depending on the traffic. Everything in the residence was up to date and clean. Mattress was on the softer side, but fine for a short stay (as someone who prefer a firmer sleeping surface). Host was responsive and easy to communication with. The bathroom is very small. I’m 6’2” 220 and taking a shower was tight but I managed. The bed is extremely soft so think about that if you have back issues. TV, internet and AC worked great. Kitchen is nicely sized for the cabin and fully furnished. The kitchen faucet needs to be tightened, I was in my wife’s car or else I would have done that for the owner. It’s a nice easy place to stay. I will say the cabin is really close to a road that had a lot of loud trucks running up and down it but it only woke me up a few times in 3 nights. I’d stay there again if going to the area. Very pet friendly too with a nice big grassy area to walk your dog around. That was nice!! ##### Geaux O.
