Stayed there with my 3 boys and was more then enough room for all of us. The kids loved it!Melanie was such a gracious host and gave us all kinds of activitiy ideas for us to do while we were there. She even left tubes for us to use. The kitchen was awesome and completely stocked with everything you would ever need. Super cozy cabin, beautiful wooded setting and right by the French broad river! We love visiting Hot Springs and we were excited to stay at this absolutely adorable house. The decor is rustic, but not antiquated. The property is beautiful and was perfect for what we were looking for. We got to explore the Paint Creek valley trails (hiking and mountain biking) and take a dip in the creek after! There's a gate at the driveway, so you don't have to worry about other people driving up. It was a little stuffy upstairs, but there's a semi-portable AC in the bathroom and several small fans, which eventually cooled it off. One thing I really appreciated about this property is that you don't have to clean the place before you leave (which makes sense, since you've paid a cleaning fee) - we didn't leave a mess, but I've stayed at other properties in the past where we had to wash the linens and the dishes and take out the trash at the end of our stay.
