"Such a wonderful stay in a very well maintained villa. Liz is a fantastic property manager, and the Townsville monopoly game was a fun addition. We'll be back! "
"Maggie’s Beachfront Apartments are in a great location. Easy access to everything in Horseshoe Bay (including walking tracks) and easy to get to other bays (if you don’t have a car there is a bus stop right out the front). Would be good if there was more basic supplies provided for longer stays (rubbish bags, laundry detergent etc) but this aside I can’t fault the property or my stay. Will definitely stay again and recommend it."
"Fantastic property on edge of native bush land. 10 min walk to beach on a boardwalk that you will need a neighbor to show you the way. Loved the pool. Everything we could have wanted."
"The apartment is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home, yet less than a minute's walk to cafes and dining options. It was a fantastic option for our family of 5. We loved waking up and seeing the ocean and having everything at our fingertips. The bus stop is less than 10 metres from the entrance to the complex, making it super easy to hop around the island if you don't have a car. Thank you for a beautiful stay!"
"We were thrilled with our 5 days at Lotus House. Absolute perfection. The house was beautiful, well appointed, highest quality of furnishings, beds, soft furnishings and everything else. The outdoor area (with many areas to land) was spectacular. The last house on the lane so you felt as you had the remaining island to yourself. A DREAM."

5/5 Excellent
Central, clean, comfy with great buffet breakfast
"Very friendly staff, large comfortable room (king executive room), central location, we used taxi from airport ($30) as we arrived too late for shuttle bus. Hotel decor looks well kept, not old, but colours are drab & lacking warmth & giving it an old fashioned feel, everything in the corridors & the room was brown. A bit of colour would brighten up a stay. It’s saving grace was the large windows. We had a small balcony on 18th floor it was very windy up there.
Rooftop pool was great with fantastic views.
Enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast with plenty of options. We were particularly grateful to see so many gluten free options at breakfast. Hot drinks weren’t great- hot chocolate very weak & watery & tea also weak ( perhaps water from dispenser wasn’t hot enough to brew a decent cup).
Enjoyed our stay and will return if in Townsville again

A verified traveller stayed at Hotel Grand Chancellor Townsville
"A beautiful property, However, our room faced the Magnetic Ferry Terminal. Was woken up both mornings by trucks engine noise and air brakes at 5:40am. If you want quiet ask for a room away from the noisy trucks and cars."

"The property was easily accessible and easy parking. The room was clean fresh and roomy. Our room was same level as restaurant and bar. Food was very good and staff exceptional. "
