The Neighborhood: The small hilltop development known as River Rock Cottages contains four homes and sits on a short dead-end road. The last two homes on the road include this cabin and another rental cabin owned by us. River Bluff sits between our other cabin and a private residence. Abundant natural foliage creates plenty of privacy between properties. Other Things to Note: Our full set of policies can be found lower on the page, but here are a few important ones: ▪ Please provide the first and last names of all guests when submitting a booking, plus tell us a little something about your stay and what brings you to the area. We are careful about who we rent to and like to get to know our guests. ▪ All guests must be 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian (we check this when in doubt). ▪ Check in is 4pm or later, checkout is by 10am. ▪ No smoking inside or out. ▪ One dog up to 30 pounds is allowed for a $75 length of stay fee. The property was in a nice quiet area, while still having access to all necessary places. We did a ton of things around Horseshoe/Asheville area. Easy to get around. The house was nice and clean and stocked with everything needed to feel comfortable. I love that they provide almost all necessary items, kitchen is fully stocked, and backups to everything (pillows, blankets, trash bags, detergent, etc). It was very clean when we arrived for a month stay. These owners have thought of including everything you need. I actually could have left a couple of heavy bags home. We loved sitting out on the back patio having coffee and enjoying the long range mountain view which made for beautiful sunsets. The main road is about 2 minutes away and all paved, easy access. We ate out every night in Hendersonville, Brevard and Mills River. It is a very convenient location. If you are thinking of staying in this area, consider this cabin.
