The lodge, the colonial, and the almond are all on the same property but there’s only a sign for the lodge. You have to check in and park at the lodge at jaguar reef for these hotels. The rooms were ok. The food choices were ok, but need improvement. The hotel grounds were spotless and the staff was always available for anything we needed. Enjoyed lunch in the main restaurant and had a nice dinner at the pizza restaurant. Tried to get ceviche one evening but they were closed at 7:10 despite a posted closing time of 7:30\. Kayaks and a sailboat are available for guest use and we found them to be in good condition. The location is a bit out of town so you need some kind of transportation if you want to leave the resort. We used the complimentary bicycles to go to Hopkins Village during the day but the bikes are not an option for dinner as they have to be back by 5pm. Wonderful, friendly staff, excellent food at the restaurant, clean comfortable rooms. We did part of our stay at Hopkins Bay and I will say that although the price is comparable, the service, cleanliness, and comfort are superior at Jaguar Reef!
