The Hideaway at Calver Arms offers generous space across three stylish bedrooms, one modern bathroom, and an extra WC. With a cosy lounge, corner sofa, and a well-equipped kitchen, it’s perfect for families or friends exploring the Peak District. Guests have full use of the entire apartment – three comfy bedrooms, a spacious lounge, modern bathroom, extra WC and a fully equipped kitchen. And don’t miss the cosy pub downstairs – it’s right there and well worth a visit during your stay! If you need anything during your stay, feel free to message us via Airbnb or through our guest app, which is sent to all guests before arrival and also available inside the apartment. Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, Calver is a charming and peaceful village surrounded by stunning countryside. With its stone cottages, scenic riverside walks, and friendly local atmosphere, it offers a truly authentic Derbyshire experience. Just a short drive from Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and Castleton, Calver is perfectly placed for exploring the area. You’ll find a fantastic local café, a handy village shop, and two welcoming pubs – including the Calver Arms just downstairs. It’s a great base for walkers, food lovers, and anyone wanting to soak up village life in a beautiful setting. Calver is best explored by car or on foot. There are beautiful walking routes straight from the village, and nearby hotspots like Bakewell, Chatsworth and Hathersage are all within a short drive. Local buses do run through the village, connecting you to surrounding towns, but for flexibility, driving is easiest. There's free parking on-site at the top tier of the pub car park. The apartment is located above the Calver Arms, a popular local pub. While it's a fantastic spot for food and drinks just downstairs, there may be some background noise during pub opening hours. Dogs are £25 and an extra charge will occur upon booking.
