We could have gotten away with not having to rent a car because everything was within walking distance. It was our first time in Hawaii and won’t be the last. They even provided a pack n play and high chair for us since we had our baby. We also found thoughtful touches like the beach chairs, umbrella, baby bath tub and swim diapers! The unit had everything we needed and lots of space to spread out in. The unit is older, but well maintained. There were four of us. Me and my three kids.
