Communication about the rental is top notch. Close to the beach, restaurants, and everything else. Highly recommend this property . Also, the coin operated washing machines use the PayRange app and were very easy to use. Laundry was easy and no need to overpack. ##### Paul B. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and really enjoyed the balcony with a view of the beach. We would sit on the balcony in the morning and sometimes in the evening and watch the sunset. The location was great. Walked to the beach, shops and restaurants. We also appreciated the parking pass to park in the attached garage. Will definitely stay here again. ##### Sue W. Communication with host was very easy, they came repaire the shower within one houre, the french handyman was super nice and recommended things to do ! The Appartment is well furnished, except for the couch that is a bit old. Its a big building so allow some time for the elevator, we often waited 10/15min to get in. The location was great…easy walk to the beach and shops. Even a great little grocery store near by. All the things we needed including beach chairs and umbrella, plenty of towels, fully equipped kitchen, and an amazing view. This was also one of the only units I could find with 2 queen beds…which were comfortable! My only recommendation would be to have lots of hooks for hanging towels, hats, bags, etc…since space is limited. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone! ##### Kate L. Having beach chairs and the cooler to use was awesome. Only criticism we have is the floor was dirty when we arrived. Our 9mo old twins had blackened knees and feet after crawling around the first day. Maybe check with your cleaning company and verify they're mopping the floors each time. ##### Jamie M. The beds were comfortable and the location was ideal for our family. We appreciated having the ability to prepare quick meals in the kitchen to cut down on eating out costs. Access to free parking was priceless. However the bathroom sink did not drain well and it had a moldy odor. Hopefully this gets resolved. Air conditioning unit was quite loud. ##### Tracy M. While the Waikiki Banyan does not have the look and feel of many of the nearby resorts (elaborate pools, on site dining, etc), we found the location of the property and the condo well suited for our needs as an adventurous family not intending to stay in the condo much. The property was very clean and as described in the listing. I made a few calls to the property management and the calls were promptly answered by friendly agents. We enjoyed the upgraded kitchen with the island for breakfasts and a few take out dinners. I was pleasantly surprised by the pretty view from the lanai as well! The location is in close proximity to not only the beach but also great restaurants. We enjoyed many of the restaurants and food trucks on Kuhio. The downsides were there were not enough large trash bags. Which they asked you to throw the trash daily! The Shower head was moldy and water splashed out of the shower creating a large puddle and super soaked bath mat! Location was great! Short walk to the beach and other attractions. Parking pass was a plus! Would stay again if shower head wouldn’t be moldy! Overall great location! Comfortable beds and thank Goodness there was a fan to use in the bedroom. Feb 7, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication Disliked: Listing accuracy #### Disappointing We took our two adult size sons to visit our daughter’s family who live on the AFB. The pictures look better than the actual apartment. I was disappointed as soon as i walked inside. It is pretty old, and shows it. It looks bigger in the pics. The decor was muted in color. The two queen beds were comfortable, but one of the boys had to sleep on the mattress from the pull out couch which was not comfortable. I laid on it first and I could feel all the bars, so we ended up putting it on the floor. When we were putting it away for the day, i saw mold on the backside of the mattress. A new pull out couch is greatly needed. The couch itself is pilling, and you can feel it when you sit on it. There are zero rugs, and the floor had a sticky feel to it. I would suggest a floor mat outside the very small shower that leaked. The shower head stuck out far and the glass wall was way shallow for it. Water on the floor was a problem. The elevator was frustrating. If you ever plan to leave, make sure you have 20 minutes to stand around and wait for it. We are all allergic to dogs and cats. The sink area of the bathroom smelled like cat pee like someone left their cat in that area to keep them off the furniture while they were gone during the day.The smoking area outside the building is poorly located. It is set up where you come out of the elevators to walk, so you always have to smell it when you leave on foot. ##### sherri l.
