We were in 309 right over night club which was extremely loud with thumping bass until 2am every morning. The place was quite dirty, the air conditioner blew right on head in bed. AC Filter needed changing. Balcony was very small with old table and chairs etc. It was also loud with traffic noise from quite early every morning. The last morning bathtub backed up and couldn’t take shower. Worst place we have ever stayed! As a fellow host I feel it's important to list pros and cons fairly to inform fellow travelers.Pros:- amazing location, right by some great surf spots- free parking very close by- well stocked apartment with plenty of towels and all the necessary amenities (including some very necessary ear plugs!)Cons:- very tired property, in desperate need of renovation. Also, we only got a towel exchange once which was fine for the bathroom towels but beach towels every other day would have been better. View of the zoo and the ocean. As soon as we walked in we could see the lack of cleaning. Between the cupboards, vents, floors, shower, and AC unit, it was noticeably dirty. It definitely needs more extensive cleaning. It was hard to relax and be comfortable with how dirty everything looked and felt. It was also very run down. The chairs on the patio they provided for us were fragile and broken when we arrived, so we had to bring the chairs from inside outside to sit on the patio and enjoy the view. The inside bar was also broken, couldn’t even be used really. The host responded to all my questions/concerns in a timely manner. Even sent up help when requested. No complaints there. The nightclub located under us really didn’t bother us at all, and we knew of it before hand. They even provided earplugs for those who need them. But with the TV on, we could hardly even tell. Overall not a terrible place to stay, it served its purpose for us. But we definitely won’t be coming back. ##### Blair W. Great stay! It had a beautiful view (its facing the zoo), easy check in/check out, less than a block from the beach, tons of shopping and restaurants close by, comfy bed, had everything we needed! We knew from reading reviews that it was over a bar, but with the ac running, it wasnt a big deal. The bar downstairs is a little noisy but I just turned the TV on until I fell asleep. The bar is only open til 11 on week days so not that bad. The bed was comfortable and the location was great. If you have a vehicle be sure to reserve the parking garage spot or you'll be searching for a parking spot. The zoo is a great place to park after 8 pm. First able, We had to check out 1 hour after we got there due to: Place was never prepared and cleaned for us to move inn. Garbage left inside bathroom trash can and floor. Shower/tub curtain rod and curtain both are missing. No running water in lavatory powder sink.(maintenance guy came after we concerned and couldn't find any solution for repair). Bathtub and kitchen sink was terribly dirty (hopefully be able to upload all pictures that we were taking). Worst thing was: bunch of long, black hair on a bed sheet underneath blanket that almost made me puke and throw up. After bringing all of the concerns and complaints to a front desk guy named Jonathan, he came up to our room, changed garbage bag liner and picked pieces of trash off the floors, looked at the bed sheet with hair all over it and dirty tub, sink and observing no running cold or hot water through the faucet, he simply with big laugh on his face replied: "I don't see anything wrong with your room" and than said: "call your host in the morning" (p.s.it was 9pm when we got into hotel) he quickly left the room ignoring everything we were concerned about. Me and my wife were shocked, mad, disappointed, etc. After traveling anywhere in the world for the past 35 years, i honestly never saw or experienced anything close to that ever before. People, Please DO NOT BOOK at this place ever or it may spoil your valuable time vacationing and waste your money. This place does not worth anything and staff is not honest.
