A true one-bedroom unit, a large sliding door closes to separate the living room from the bedroom, but can be open to make the condo look and feel bigger. Our unit is at the more tranquil Ewa end of Waikiki, yet mere minutes from Ala Moana Mall, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ft. Derussy, Magic Island, Duke's, and 100 other tropical destinations, especially the sparkling white sands of Waikiki - the 'funnest' beach in the world! Don't feel like cooking? A 'Best in Honolulu' restaurant is within a one-minute walk: the Chart House. Close by is also Pesca Waikiki Beach at the Top of the "I." Red Lobster and the Harbor Pub, long time local favorites, are also less than a one-minute walk away. On your way to the beach, stop off at Cinnamon's Restaurant for food, drinks, and "local kine" hula and music. All this within a 1-3 minute walk. It is in a perfect location-close to everything in Waikiki, but quieter than expected. The owners have outfitted it exceptionally well-this is where it makes for a great place to stay. They have thought of everything-beach chairs, snorkeling gear, books, games, extra fans, and a full kitchen! It is short walk to Ala Moana Park, the Mall, and the Lagoon and beach at the Hilton Village. There is no shortage of good food around (get the Açaí Bowls at Tropical Tribe, next to the McDonald’s across the street!). There was a literal traffic jam inside the parking garage, mostly due to the very confusing process of paying to park. Luckily, that was our last night & we had the process figured out but not everyone was so lucky. Other than that little snafu, we had a fantastic time! There were beach chairs, umbrella, & backpack in the condo so it made it super easy to spend the day on the beach. A wagon would be helpful so you could carry that to the beach but we loaded up our Jeep and off we went. This was my first experience with VRBO, and can attest that this location and property is every bit and more than was expected. My husband was running I was watching. This condo was very convenient to the start line. Unfortunately the finish line was nearly 2 miles away so it was a difficult walk back at the end of the race. The condo was very clean and had everything necessary for our stay. The lagoon and beach were just a short walk. Convenience store and restaurants were steps away. We enjoyed the corner pub for drinks and pizza and the Hilton Hawaiian Village is just around the corner for shopping and ice cream. The bed and furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The condo has everything you need for your stay. Furniture seems a bit outdated, but comfortable. The balcony is only big enough to stand, no real space to sit down and enjoy your morning brew, but the views and sunset make up for that. The washer and dryer was out of service in the condo so we had to pay to use the community laundry on the 8th floor which was inconvenient. There was an issue with roaches in the kitchen area of the condo but apparently this is an issue everywhere in Hawaii, the guide book that’s left for you explains that they’re everywhere but they fumigate the building regularly - it’s still shocking when you randomly see them running on the counter and under the sink so that’s something to consider. This is a gorgeous, one bedroom condo, with panoramic marina and ocean views, including full sunset and partial sunrise. Spectacular! While in the Pink Plumeria, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of Waikii from the comfort of a nicely remodeled condo. Watch sailboats and fishing boats, surfers, and kids playing in the lagoon, all from the condo living-room and the bedroom. When you are ready for action, take the elevator down 5 floors and step out to the marina, walk 100 yards to the lagoon or beach. Want food? Four great restaurants on your block. Groceries? One block to the ABC store, which is stocked with just about anything you will need for your stay. Jun 30, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great Location, Communication and Property The condo is located in a very advantageous position in that you can easily walk to the beach, the mall and to Waikiki The beach is about a five minute walk, same with the mall and Waikiki’s main strip to Waikiki Beach maybe 10-15 minutes. The 5th floor of the parking garage also connects easily to the floor this condo is on and charges about 35 a night. There is 15 public parking across the street as well and a local rentals from Budget and Alamo rent a car which was about 100 a day and cheaper for multiple days.In terms of communication the owners were very helpful before the stay in answering any questions and staying in contact. They also gave heads up about repairs being done to lanais during the stay and a monthly pest inspection that would occur. The on site person was also available though not really needed during the stay. In terms of the condo it is very clean and very well appointed with everything you would need. The only minus is not having a washer/dryer in the unit although their is a public laundry on the 8th floor. For taller people the shower is a little low but manageable and has good heat and water pressure. The lanai was unavailable during my stay due to repairs and is really a standing lanai that overlooks the harbor. Just FYI there is a restaurant below that plays live music that you will hear until 10 pm each night. We vacationed in Honolulu for 10 days to visit our son, who is stationed on Oahu. I can’t imagine a better location for a vacation in Honolulu, and this was the best vacation rental unit we’ve ever stayed in. It is exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The kitchen has virtually everything one could want; and the beach gear includes chairs, umbrella, ice chest, and even a back pack. The location is extremely convenient, with a variety of restaurants right in the building, a small grocery right across the street, and within walking distance to the beach, shopping, and many other restaurants in the Waikiki area. And, of course, the view of the marina and ocean is spectacular! Sunset is a photo opportunity every day. Rex and Erica, as well as local contacts Ryan and Kelly, are very responsive and delightful to deal with. We highly recommend this unit, and it will certainly be our first choice when we return to Honolulu. ##### Margaret L. The location of the condo is perfect - just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the center of Waikiki. The view from the condo is amazing and the pictures fully justify the view. The owners Erica and Rex were wonderful to work with and were very prompt in responding to my emails. They have literally thought of every minute detail - right from flashlights, to beach chairs, mats, even beach bags, fully equipped kitchen(with a wide granite countertop), towels, linens and the list goes on and on - all that you need to make your vacation a truly enjoyable experience. The condo manager,Lila, was also very helpful and was always on hand to help. There are 'ABC Stores' right across the condo which has everything that you need - from milk to beachwear!! Do not miss the Kimobean coffee shop for a good morning breakfast and coffee. McDonalds is right across the complex too. The fireworks on Friday nights are a must.
