The street we are on has food trucks as well which made it convenient to get food if I didn’t want to walk too far for food. Our fan didn’t work when we got there and I was able to get in touch with the property manager and they were able to send someone to check it out the next day. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here! I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was as a promised. It was clean and well appointed for our needs. Even being in a relatively busy area it was quiet. I have rented through Alii Beach before and have been satisfied with their responsiveness. There is laundry on site, full kitchen (with all the pots, pans, utensils, a rice cooker, coffee pot, and more), and room for a couple with two children (or 4 adults total, but two will sleep on twin size beds). Very close to Waikiki Beach, a 3 minute walk at most. Communication was great, as I had questions, the property managers promptly replied and assisted. If you have a car, make sure you reserve a parking spot, or you'll need to park on the street. Great location, comfortable. My only con was no elevator and was on the 4th floor. Also had trouble getting key and no one answered call or returned voicemail. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay at the Cabana as we really enjoyed being so close to our snorkeling spot! Although there was no view from the lanai, it was only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful ocean...and I could pick up my starbucks coffee in the morning on the way there! Even though the place was clean, the carpet in the bedroom could use a deeper cleaning. The condo was good for the price. ##### barbara g. A bit loud (next to a hotel bar), and no parking in the area (suggested garage was at capacity and eventually we parked hourly at the zoo and walked). Unfortunately, the air conditioner was not fully functioning and was not cooling the whole space so we lost use of the bed for 3 nights. Although we checked in on Monday and immediately called the property manager. it took three days for them to reach the owner and to have it replaced. So we suffered for three nights when the weather was a high of 90, 90 and 88 respectively. I asked VRBO to intervene, but they were only able to negotiate 30% off on the three nights (despite how uncomfortable we were, and despite the fact that I paid for a product that they did not fully deliver). Fixing the issue as soon as possible (which was by Thursday afternoon) does not unfortunately make up for three really tough nights. They should have comped the nights or discounted at least by %50\. Ultimately it was too complicated to find somewhere else and we just made it work and I was stuck with what VRBO could get them to agree with.
