The room was clean and bug free. The staff at the front desk were attentive and nice, always greeting guests as they passed by. The room had a bunch of beach stuff (chairs, musc. Snorkeling eguip, boogie board) we used the backpack chair daily. There is a full size coffee maker with with filters, and two 4 cup coffee packs. Microwave and fridge worked well. The little patio was nice to sit on. There is an observation deck on the 10 floor with amazing views of the beach, zoo, and Diamond head. Nice place to relax in the evening. Here is the bad stuff. The noise in the room is constant from large A/C fans for the restaurant and other hotels surrounding it. There are only black out curtains for half of the glass windows and doors. The lights outside make it look like it is the middle of day inside the room all night long. I used ear plugs and mask to cover my eyes the 2nd and 3rd night,this helped. Much of the furniture is long in the tooth but functional. The one chair at the bar style table was so wobbly I wouldn’t sit on it for fear of it breaking. The A/C struggled but kept the rooms little cooler than outside. I think it needs a little maintenance and the condensate drain opened. I wanted to give this an excellent rating but the room needs some maintenance and attention.
