This property is great for the location, just off the busy Waikiki tourist area. But just 15 minute walk to get to the start of Waikiki. The property is older, but fairly well maintained. Staff interaction was great. The backside of the complex has a patio area with lounging chairs, then a grassy area below. Not a good area for swimming as it has a rock cliff, but first beach is 5 away. No BBQ as stated. The apartment itself was clean and fairly well stocked with essentials. The kitchen had needed supplies for cooking and eating for 4 place settings. Even had some spices, though when checking out, were probably not useable as seemed to be clumped from humidity. The dining table had plenty of room around it for 4 persons. The living room has a couch and a lounge chair. There is a TV that has Roku with limited availability. But could log in with your own account for as well as Netflix and other streaming services. The bathroom was a bit cramped in that the shower seemed smaller than what I am used to as well as the walkway is right on top of the commode and sink when walking into. Was well stocked with extra toilet paper and extra towels and such. The bedroom is fair size. There are nightstands on each side and a chest of drawers. The closet has hangers and also stores a couple of beach chairs as well as a boogie board and swimming equipment. Close enough to Waikiki, but far enough from the busy traffic. The unit is a bit dated, but checked all the necessary boxes. The unit was nicely cleaned and cooled when we arrived. Group of 10, with 5 condos rented. It was nice to be able to sit in the community patio and grassy area as a group with an ocean view. We would all bring down our food and beverages in mornings and evenings. This allowed us hang out as a group without being in a restaurant. Building has everything needed for a nice stay. All units were clean and the response from property management was outstanding. It was great that everyone in my party could fine a room style that suited them and their budgets. We prefer this side of Waikiki so can get away from the noise and hustle in Waikiki proper. About the unit, giving 3 starts overall because the blinds really need to go. It's impossible to open the blinds and with them down all the time, I felt like I was living in a cage. Just like the photo shows, so I knew to expect those blinds, but it took me a couple days to get used to the experience. The blinds make it almost impossible to open the slider for a breeze. Everyone in my party agreed they would stay in this building again. I would consider a different condo, but this one is good enough. Higher the better, otherwise you'll be looking at roofs, but this is reflected in the price. ##### Victoria K. Tranquil lawn and patio for watching the ocean and sunsets. Has wall unit air conditioners which are very loud. Nice kitchen set-up.. Needs some minor maintenance and cleaning detail. Walking distance (less than 1 mile on flat surface) to Waikiki, Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo. Great views of Diamond Head. 2 doors down from the Elks Lodge and Outrigger Club. ##### Bob F. The unit is stripped to the bare minimum. There were four towels for the entirety of our 4 night-stay for 4 people. There were a few \*critical\* things (both tangible and conceptual) that were missing or lacking of. No toiletries were provided, and when I informed the host he did not apologize but rather said I should look harder as he is certain there is some in the bathroom. The inside of the unit did not appear to have been professionally cleaned. There were mold-like residue on the shower curtain. The exterior door is covered with grime. The blinds in the living room were not working and was left up, so we lacked privacy during our stay. I did alert the host about the issue, and again was told to try harder as he is certain it should be working. He eventually sent someone to look at it, and that person confirmed that it was indeed broken. No apologies from the host whatsoever. We decided not to pursue repairs as we are nearing the end of our trip, and did not want to be bothered with people going in and out of our space. TL;DR Unit was subpar and customer service. \*Two stars at the most.\* ##### Arco-Enciel F. Stayed many times in this building due to its quiet nature and easy beach access and proximity to everything. It was easy dealing with the manager Mark and all instructions were clear and concise. Only recommendation would be an upgrade to a King sized bed to make the unit even better. Great spot though. Enjoy! ##### Phil C. Was a bit disappointed that the area immediately outside unit was very narrow, pictures had looked like it was big enough to sit. Kept the windows open the whole time but none of the windows on the south side would open so to get a cross breeze had to keep front door open. Blinds were very heavy and wouldn’t raise up but we just adjusted to let air through. Lots of beach accessories in the closet. Overall had a great time while there. ##### Karen J. Most importantly,you have a security issue: mid morning on Aug 31st, somebody opened the door (602) (I had my back towards the door) for a second and closed it. Has everything you need. A washer/ dryer in unit would have been nice. No detergent for sale in the basement coin laundry. Well maintained but in need of renovation. Noisy window unit AC. Old windows and blinds that are difficult to open and close. Kitchen and bath cabinets and counters are from the 70’s at best. If you don’t spend much time inside this place is fine.
