LARGE CORNER UNIT Located only 1 block from world famous Waikiki Beach, this ocean facing, large corner unit with lanai and extra windows on the 36th floor, has panoramic views of the ocean, beach, pool, and Diamond Head, not to mention the sunrise and sunset views. Breathtaking! Our condo has been upgraded with bamboo flooring throughout and offers all the comforts desired. The living room is spacious and has furniture with a bright and airy tropical touch. Enjoy our full sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress for your comfort and our two lazy boy chairs. Also for your enjoyment is a 50'' Smart TV with over 100 channels. There’s a full sized kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, garburator and fully equipped cabinets for all your cooking needs, along with an adjoining dining area. The kitchen and bathroom have Corian countertops. The bedroom has a queen bed and an additional TV surrounded by ocean views. Also for your convenience, there are two doors leading into the bathroom, one from the bedroom and one from the living room. Included in the nightly rate is Wifi and parking. (a parking pass is supplied with the condo) Our unit is air conditioned for your comfort. We supply beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and boogie boards. The Waikiki Banyan is a very well maintained and family friendly resort. The recreation deck features a large pool and 2 hot tubs, tennis court, basketball court, picnic/ BBQ area, and a children's playground. You will find a convenience store and specialty coffee cafe located right outside the elevators in tower one of the main lobby and a laundry room just outside our condo door. \*\*INCLUDED in our nightly rate is PARKING in our parkade (a parking pass is supplied) and WIFI \*\*BUILDING NOTE The entire 6th floor recreation deck including swimming pool, hot tubs, and BBQ area is undergoing a complete renovation and is closed. Il y avait de l'espace pour tout le monde et la cuisine est bien équipée. proche des plages. Un peu loin pour faire les courses cependant si on ne veut pas se ruiner. The unit is close to the Waikiki beach, well within walking distance, and to the main shopping area. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. The only con was that the a few of the appliances seem to be very dated such as the oven and iron, and the bathroom and kitchen could use a refresh. Bed is extra uncomfortable. Towels and sheets with make up stains.Air conditioning is super duper loud. It feels like there’s a trash truck in your ears all night, which didn’t let us sleep at all. On top of that the AC broke down and the place became a sauna. We were literally burning in hell. Maintenance did absolutely nothing while we’re melting.I’ve stayed several times at the Banyan and the units are usually more upgraded and better. This one never again! ##### TAIANA F. Great location (beach 2 blocks, coffee shop on first floor, laundry room next door to unit). The A/C unit and fans inside the unit were covered in dust and you had to pump the water from the AC tray every day to avoid waking up to a wet balcony. We were told ahead of time that the pool was closed which was reflected in the reduced price. Aside from the dust everything else was good. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Well equipped kitchen. There is small kitchen to encourage a small operation of cooking. It is a 5-min walk to the beach for a couple and a toddler. It is also so close to Waikiki shopping mall, target and Waikiki Market. This place is surrounded with many good restaurants and street food. The condo has plenty of towels, beach chairs. Laundy and trash facilities were very close. About the AC, we figured out that at least once a day we need to pump the water from the tray under the AC into bucket to prevent the balcony flood. The communication with host and property manager was very efficient and effective. We really enjoy our stay and we are grateful that this place was available for a short term rental. Great view of Diamond Head and partial view of the ocean. Location was great! Close to Waikiki Beach, restaurants, grocery stores and activities. It was also central location for all of our activities we did. There were beach chairs, cooler and umbrellas on the balcony which we ended up using. That was nice to have those items. Plenty of cookware, if you decide to cook in for a night or two. Downside was you do hear noise even though you’re up on the 36th floor, but it can be drowned out by the fan or air conditioner. The only recommendation I would suggest would to get a new stove. The range tops have seen better days. Perfect location, we got a car so ventured everywhere around the island during the day, but returned in the evening and walked to dinners! Shari was responsive with every question we had and check out instructions were easy to follow. Loved being at the top of the tower and all the way on the corner so we had a great view of Diamond Head and the beach! We stayed on the 36th floor. The place was dirty and very dusty, the air purifier was obviously not cleaned out, the dust was piling up as well. We tried to lower the AC temperature and it was a specific temperature, unable to change. The carpets were dirty and there weren’t enough towels, we had to ask a few times for them before they brought it, not to mention a few days late after we asked them. We stayed here for 6 nights and 7 days and we all are very unhappy with our stay. ##### Helen D. There were a few issues with the windows not closing fully and the air conditioner works, but is very loud so we couldn't use it at night. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. One of the highlights was definitely the view — it was absolutely breathtaking! From our balcony, we could see Diamond Head, and it truly felt like a million-dollar view. The location is very close to the beach and any shop/restaurant! The building is a bit dated, but clean and quiet. This place has a view and not just one! It is really something to experience! Amenities-wise, all the essentials were available! We appreciated a welcoming gift basket! TV and subscription services were provided. The only minor suggestion I can add is to either leave napkins/paper towels or indicate that those items are not available.
