Room rate will be less than a half of the small studio class hotel room. More space, less price and 2 parking. You may also enjoy the diamond head and ocean view from the room!!
From the first step inside, you will quickly notice the clean and modern feel of the space, with Waikiki and Diamond Head as a backdrop.
A big couch to comfortably watch your favorite TV show, a fully equipped contemporary kitchen, is meant to be lived and loved in, whether you're cooking your family’s favorite meals or trying your hand at world famous Honolulu cookies.
A queen size bed with soft sheets will provide maximum comfort and good sleep and of course wide windows and a balcony to admire beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The views of the city, park, ocean and mountains are unbeatable.
Waikiki Palms is located on the far western end of Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few steps away from the building is the Waikiki harbor, the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and Fort DeRussy park. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
There are several bus stops near the Waikiki Palms, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.

Great location, a little noisy, parking is ideal. Overall the unit is a little rundown but we spent so little time there it was not too much of a distraction.

The elevators were slow or not working. The pool was closed for repairs and the water was shut off in the building one day for 2 hours. The parking garage is not made very well the turns are to tight.

The stay was good but the property needs updating. There was not enough hangers, no dresser and the toilet kept running. Also I didn’t like the add on bidet.

Wonderful stay and lots of space!

We had a wonderful stay at the unit and it was great to have parking included. Being at the top penthouse unit included a nice view from the balcony and an entire full kitchen. Bed was comfy and we felt very comfortable!

Mostly Great

The suite itself was very clean and having an actual separate bedroom was nice. The view of Diamond Head and partial ocean view was spectacular. The suite was well stocked especially with extra towels. I found the owner to be easy to communicate with the host via by email. The only two issues are out of the host’s control…..noise from the busy street below and the terrifying entrance to the parking garage. Also the first parking space is extremely difficult to pull in and out.Overall I would recommend staying here. The price is certainly reasonable for staying in Waikiki.

Great place. Clean. The only negative thing I have to share is the bed pillows were too flat for my liking as the shower head was too weak. Other than that the AC was cold and the balconies were lovely. Would stay again.

Birthday vacation

Everything was fine with the room but when i tried to call the number listed for property management the recording is all in Japanese and when i left a message nobody responded so i always had to e-mail them which they did respond by e-mail but i would have rather talked to a person. The remote did not work in the bedroom they did send a new remote with no batteries in a few day later. They only had one small piece of soap for 3 people to wash hands & shower. The air conditioning drainage flooded the room & i tried calling since it was a emergency since the water was coming out of the ceiling luckily their was a mainteance man in the hallway & he fixed the problem. He said the air condition drainage was blocked. The view was nice & the location was really nice. You can catch the trolleys right in front of the hotel to go to Ala Moana Mall to Waikiki with a all day pass. Thank-you, Lori

Very disappointed

Checked in about 5 on a Saturday. Went to the room excited about settling in and going out to a nice dinner. Went to the room only to fin the only toilet was full of bowel. Mu some spent five minutes trying to plunge the toilet and keep it from over flowing. We then sat down to relax only to fine that neither tv worked and there was no cable. I called the first contact number I was given and it went to voicemail, I then called the second number and it went to voice mail. I then called the third number I was given only to be told the voice mail was full and not accepting new messages. I then went to the front desk of the condo property and they sent an essays to the owner. I then checked into a regular room for the night. I was still hopeful we would hear something back and be able to move into the original VRBO unit. That ever happened. We never heard back fro Lei Hawaii Realty even after repeated calls. The owner of the unit did say he was reporting the problems with Lea Hawaii Realty. Nothing was ever done.

Perfect location!

Check in was easy and seamless. Penthouse was clean, furnished (extra towels, sheets/blankets/pillows, toilet paper, pots/pan to cook, silverware, beach chairs, mats, fan etc) and was convenient to stay walking distance from main Waikiki attractions. Parking was easy to locate only thing is that there were 2 times we had to report that someone else was parking in one of our assigned parking spots. Also, A/C was not working properly upon check in but was fixed next day. Then A/c would intermittently stop working throughout our stay As well so we had to call maintenance again. it was pretty warm but was fixed. But overall, my family and I felt at home and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit and recommend to our friends/family.

A great property with a few concerns

Pros View, every thing as promised. The photos on the website actually don’t do the views justice. Lovely view of Diamond Head and two views of ocean. Buildings block the sunset, but views are still worth it. Free Parking! The hotel, in which this condo is located, charges $40 per space per night and they can’t always provide spaces due to demand, so having two spaces included in the rental price is a real benefit. Location right down in the busy Waikiki city. Just two blocks from the beach (now see cons on location). Very good price if you’re looking for a condo in downtown Waikiki (now see cons on). Spacious true one bedroom (not a studio with sliding louvre ) provides you with plenty of space. Plenty of storage (We could use a chest of drawers, but it was not essential. Cons Location. Condo fronts onto Ala Moana Blvd, a very busy main thoroughfare in Waikiki. Since the condo fronts on the busy street, traffic noise is significant making it unpleasant to sit on the balcony or leave the sliding doors open. At 6PM it was a little difficult to carry on a conversation on the patio, so if you are seeking a quiet Hawaiian experience, this rental is not for you, but you an urban aficionado then it could work. Maintenance: This is an older property which is really showing its age. Very little money has been reinvested in it. The kitchen and bathroom especially are showing their age. Lived up to expectations

My husband and I stayed at the penthouse suite for two weeks and found the location very good, across from Hilton Village. The suite was as advertised and quite spacious. Check in went well. The parking stall on first floor always seemed to be occupied by someone else but since we had only one vehicle, the spot on the 3rd floor was easier to get in and out of anyways. My only comments are we could have used an extra bar of soap for a two week stay and the kitchen pots/pans were badly scratched.

As advertised

We didn’t have any issues with this condo. The kitchen was well equipped, it had a nice view for being a bit off of the beach, easy walking to the beach, stores, etc. Good condo for a fair price.
