Parking being included was HUGE, as other places make you pay an extra $40-50/day for this! Beautiful view from the balcony. King size bed was super comfortable, though the fold out for the kids was very uncomfortable. Thankfully they provided a bunch of extra blankets and stuff we could use as padding so the kids found it comfortable enough to sleep on. There is laundry and dryer, but only one machine per floor so it may not be available, though I guess there's nothing preventing you from using the machines on other floors. It does need some TLC and updating in the bathroom area (mostly tub/shower is cracking) along with some newer sheets and towels. The front door and window blinds also need some TLC as they are damaged near the lock (maybe from changing it?) and the smaller blinds above the AC unit are missing. Thankful for the AC and the beach umbrella (although the cover for it was also ripped). There are also two new body surfing boards in this unit as we couldn’t bring them home with us. It was walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beach, the bus stop, and many other things. The property is conmfortable with plenty of spare bedding, a kitchen stocked with handy items, and wifi, etc. The pool and spa was also handy and well maintained. The company managing the property were extremely helpful during the check in process and communicated with us pleasantly and promptly throughout our stay. This was my 3rd stay at Waikiki Banyan. And despite my first impression was that the 3401-1 was better than other rooms it appeared to be a false one -- just renovated floor, nice fridge and microwave made the room look better. What we learned quite soon is that the room is full of cockroaches, and not only big ones that could come from outside area, but of all the sizes, which means they were breed there. There were few locked kitchen cabinets where they came from, especially in the evening. And there were traps under the sink, so owners or at least cleaners knew about the problem. Long story short it's a shame for owners to rent out their apartment full of cockroaches, and I would not recommend to anybody to stay in that particular room. My fault was that I believed in good reviews from VRBO, but my wife then noticed that the last one was from 2020\. My bad. Never come back. ##### Pavel M. The condo is on very high floor so it helps to eliminate the noise from the streets. The location is very convenient, steps away from the beach and the main strip of Waikiki. It's a small one bedroom space and the one window unit AC works descent to keep the place cool, as long as you have it turned on all day all night. The free parking space is very helpful since parking is hard to find in the area. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and will stay here again when I return. ##### Meixi C.
