![Honolua Bay is your reward stop after driving the rugged mountainous nearly one-lane road along Maui's Northern-most tip of the island. This road is legal and accessible with a normal vehicle, but it's a bit of a harrowing drive, so be very cautious and honk when coming around bends. 

Honolua Bay is a great place to snorkel, have a swim, or lay on the hot rocks. While here, be sure to visit the Coconut Caboose mobile truck, serving all-natural shaved ice made from frozen raw coconut water, hand-cracked by the owner and founder himself. They also serve delicious organic, vegan gelato all using coconut as the base instead of milk. The owner has amazing sustainable values, and all of his products are compostable and made of cane sugar instead of plastic. Now THIS is a business we support!

« Check in is seamless with lock codes sent to email and through text before we arrived. The breakfast was delicious each morning and very convenient! We stayed during a tsunami warning and the chef provided a dinner option for everyone since all the restaurants closed in the area. Definitely an added perk to staying in a small historic inn! »

« I had a great visit at the Historic Wailuku Inn. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, just as pictured, bright and very comfortable. The Inn is meticulously maintained, both inside and out. I spent many nights on the front porch, working or catching up on e-mail, and got to know several of the other guests. The staff are super friendly and are very quick to respond to any inquiry that I had. I am looking forward to my next visit to Maui and my stay at the Historic Wailuku Inn. »

"Bonjour, Je souhaite vous faire part de notre déception concernant notre récent séjour dans votre établissement. Tout d’abord, étant membre Gold, nous avons été surpris de constater que des frais supplémentaires nous ont été facturés, dépassant le montant normalement dû pour les resort fees. Cette situation nous a semblé incohérente avec le statut et les avantages associés. De plus, durant notre séjour, il y a eu un dégât d’eau provenant de la chambre au-dessus de la nôtre. Nous avons dû gérer et nettoyer la situation nous-mêmes, ce qui a grandement affecté notre expérience. Nous avions également mentionné que ce séjour marquait notre 15e anniversaire. Malheureusement, aucune attention particulière ni geste de reconnaissance n’a été offert, ce qui a été décevant compte tenu de l’occasion. Finalement, lors de notre repas au restaurant de l’hôtel, l’entrée et le plat principal ont été servis en même temps, et les deux étaient froids. Cette expérience ne correspond pas au niveau de service attendu dans un établissement de votre catégorie. Nous souhaitions vous partager ces éléments afin que vous puissiez en prendre connaissance et améliorer l’expérience client. Nous espérons qu’un suivi pourra être fait concernant cette situation."
