There is no air conditioning, but there are black out blinds which we made sure were shut in the day while we were out exploring, to block out the sun. However, we did experience some unfortunate situations in this unit that were 100% avoidable. Lack of communication from the owner prior to check in regarding the broken washing machine (when we notified the point of contact, the owner reached out and apologized but no recompense was offered--only a solution that we would need to use the laundromat on property); failure to address a major safety concern with the pool (cover on the water intake was missing and had been missing for a couple of months, according to the property manager); and a significant lack of attention to cleanliness of the condo (dirty dishes and silverware in cabinet, dirty refrigerator, dirty shower doors, filthy window louvers, etc.) contributed to a less than desirable experience with this unit. Despite these challenges, we enjoyed our vacation--it's Maui, after all. We will return to Maui soon, but we will not stay in this unit. ##### Katie K. As noted by others the unit is clean, attractive and well equipped with items needed to prepare meals, visit the beach,etc. To keep the rooms comfortable in the heat, we closed the dense curtains and left some windows open for air circulation while we were out for the day, making the unit very comfortable upon our return. Also there are fans in every single room including kitchen and master bath. Being located literally right on the beach was so awesome! We did need ear plugs in the master room when sleeping because those waves were pretty loud at times ( excellent white noise). We especially loved the proximity to nearby Ka’anapali, Lahaina and Kapalua, plenty of places to explore and great places to eat when we didn’t want to cook. We had tortoises visit the beach below the condo several days during our stay which was a treat. The location is perfect for access to all of the local beaches and the nearby stores and shops are right there, yet, still a bit outside of more busy Lahaina. The views from the Lanai are amazing and we utilized it every day to the fullest extent. The bedrooms are spacious, with great internet and cable connections. The condo is equipped with everything one would need. Previous guests had left spices and non-perishables that were appreciated and we were happy to contribute some things that we purchased for future guests to enjoy and utilize. The pool is clean and enjoyable, however, perhaps a bit small to share with the number of guests combined in all of condos using it. Nevertheless, this was a great find. Thank you! ##### Chris C. I thought I was scammed but finally the property manager got in contact with me and after that everything went perfect. The property was beautiful and so comfortable. Great views, pool, private beach. The condo was clean and perfect size for us. The only negative was we were there in August and with no air conditioning it got REALLY hot in the condo, especially in the afternoon and evening. A small air conditioner we found in a closet cooled a room down to a degree, but rest of condo was kinda miserable temperature-wise. Lesson learned: don’t go in August. Also, couch was “scratchy” and didn’t feel good on sunburned skin.😳 Also, they sorely need to upgrade their towels & wash cloths ad more beach towels would have been great. But overall this property was really great and we would definitely stay here again! ##### Lori S. ### 8/10 – Bien #### Douglas H. 18 août 2019 Points forts : Propreté #### Wonderful and Amazing The interior finish is very nicely done. Extremely nice. We loved it. None of the property online listing said there was air conditioning. However the fact that there was none was also not stated. That was a HUGE problem. So big a problem that if we had been able to find a different room with air upon arrival, we would have paid for both because we were past our cancelation period by the time we found out about the problem. We were willing to 3x for another room with air. We checked Marriott and all competitors. But no rooms could be found. We loved our stay but lack of air would stop us from returning. Fortunately there was a small portable AC unit to keep master bedroom cool enough for my wife and me, but the kids are exhausted after a week with little sleep due to heat. The rest of the unit was also uncomfortable due to heat. No number of fans would solve that. Otherwise, perfect unit for our family. ##### Douglas H. Séjour de 8 nuits en juillet 2019
