"Great value"
Great value for money, located right in the center of Kowloon, close to amenities and train stations. Staff were helpful, rooms were clean. Yes the building was a bit old but at an affordable rate the positives sure outweigh this.

"nice modern cosy "
ethan was good and customer service oriented. the hotels staffs are attentive. the items in the bedroom were new modern and clean. pillow were not that good though but i like my room. they let me check in early. the only thing i would like to comment was when i checked out from the hotel at 330AM for my morning flight. I was attended by a lady who was doing her duty and asked me if I used anything from the mini bar, which i didnt and okay with the question cos its her job. but when she asked me did i take the mobile phone they have on the desk (which they provide to all hotel guests to use for free), i told her no. and she asked me 3 times and i was annoyed so i told her. firstly the way she asked me the question was like assuming i took the phone and like as if i steal the phone. second, she had to ask me three times - like whats wrong with her hearing or inability to understand the word "NO, i did not." third, she told me if theres anything missing in the room like the phone, she will charge my AMEX. wow that is really indirectly telling or warning me...

"You get what you pay for"
This guesthouse is ok considering the price. Located on the busiest street in Hong Kong. We were very surprised to find out the hotel is inside a building full of street sellers of everything you can imagine. The rooms are awfully small but pretty clean and the bed quite comfortable. It is ok just for a couple of nights and if you are on a tight budget, as better opions in Hong Kong are much more expensive.

Why we moved to other hotels (but in the same group of LV HK) Why we didn't get the same hotel that we booked? Should tell us that we booked the real hotel which we got not using other hotel to convince us to booked with you.

Concerto Inn - Lamma Island Hotels

Concerto Inn

"Off the beaten path..."
Lamma island is off the beaten path - WAY OFF the beaten path. But that is exactly what we were looking for. We arrived on the ferry and hiked for 25/30 minutes to get to the hotel. There are sign posts, so even though it was dark, there was no danger of getting lost. We found the Concierto Inn with no problem, and were checked in immediately. The kitchen had already closed for the night, so we were told we could not get food. The area near the ferry has later hours, but the smaller villages roll up the sidewalks at sunset. We were escorted to our room and shown where everything was. The staff was friendly, welcoming and spoke beautiful English. (I live in Beijing where that is often not the case.) The room was very small, but clean and comfortable. It had a hide-away bed for my 10-year-old. My son and I went to play on the beach. When we got back, we found out that Bill had take pity on my cranky husband and made us food. Everything that Bill made for use during out stay was outstanding! The hotel overlooks the beach, which has a protected swimming area. The water is murky, but calm and safe. There are rocks and tide pools to explore. We hiked all over the island while we were there. The views from the hike are beautiful. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water! Again, there is one road, so it is impossible to get lost. The path takes you to some of the other villages. There are no cars on the island so the only way to get around is to or bike.
