Hondarrabie et l'appartement d'Alvaro sont parfaits. Il est localisé dans une rue très calme et très typique. A pied, on peut aller se promener ou à la plage et le soir goûter à la vie espagnole, avec les apéros et les tapas ou pintchos. A 5mn de l'appartement, nous avons pris le bus (E21, toutes les heures) pour 2,55€ en direction de Donastia (Saint Sébastien). Nous y avons passé le journée sans le soucis de se garer. Si vous arrivez en voiture, il est possible de se garer gratuitement à 200m de l'appartement d'Alvaro. L'appartement est parfait mais je ne dis rien car tout est dans les photos. Du goût, de l'attention et un cadre superbe ! Je n'en dis pas plus pour vous laisser découvrir... Et je ne parle pas d'Alvaro, un hôte parfait et galant. The apartment is in the middle of the old town of Hondarribia and a short walk from lots of lovely bars and restaurants, not to mention some beautiful beaches and sights along the coast. Alvaro (our host) was charming and very helpful with lots of local recommendations and advice. Can't recommend this place too highly! ##### James S. He was a great communicator from booking on, and took care of many extras for us. Free parking is very close. We knew the 2nd floor walk up would be hard with our luggage, so Alvaro met and helped us, and arranged for a taxi with a driver who did the same. The location is perfect and we easily walked all over, and were able to drive to other towns in Basque Spain and France. The apartment is nicely laid out, with a large living room and spacious kitchen. The shower is good and linens nice cotton. We appreciated the welcome Basque cider and coffee. The bedroom have hanging and folded space, making our stay easy. My favorite part has to be the front balcony with its cafe table and chairs. I loved morning coffee and evening wine and cheese with its magical view. Upon arrival we were shown where to park and received assistance with our luggage and a short tour of the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and perfect for our family. My Search was originally San Sebastian - in the Old Town. This certainly ticked the box for Old Town but in Hondarribia. What a delight! Charming property in an historic setting, newly refurbished, and our home from home for a long weekend - with the added bonus of neighbouring France just a short walk and ferry-ride away. Easy bus journey into San Sebastian - just ideal for our needs. Our Host Alvaro was attentive and generous - nothing was too much trouble. ##### Stephen D. Exceptional accomodation from an experience point of view right in the heart of the old town. The views from the apartment are beautiful and walking around the old town, you feel like you’ve stepped into an epic movie set with warmest, most authentic and friendly people. In the apartment everything was clean, comfortable and wonderfully appointed. Easy access to great dining, tapas and bars both local and into San Sebastian and/or the Basque side of France. I highly recommend Alvaro’s place and Hondarribia as a wonderful location-it exceeded all our expectations. Even without going into the town (which is walkable) , there are several bars and restaurants just a few steps away, including a lovely courtyard in which to have drinks and pintxos. The apartment is well equipped with everything we could have needed. The bed was very comfy. Alvaro was a wonderful communicator. At the beginning of our stay he met us in the carpark and showed us around the property and gave us tips on things to do. He was available for any questions we had throughout our stay. The apartment's location is great, with easy access to everything you might want to see in Hondarribia. Alvaro was great and he helped us with parking, making us comfortable at the home during check-in, and being always available to provide recommendations for things to do in the area. El apartamento es muy cuco y muy coqueto. Está en plena entrada del casco histórico de Hondarribia. La casa está rehabilitada y es muy genuina. Álvaro y Birkide son gentiles y muy atentos tanto en recomendaciones gastronómicas como en sitios para visitar y mercados para comprar. Hemos ido mi marido y mis hijos de 12 y 10 años y nos hemos alojado muy cómodamente. Super limpio, camas cómodas, la ducha magnífica y la calefacción funciona perfectamente. Una casa de 10\.
