REQUIRED COUNTY STR PERMIT INFORMATION: STR 22-6319 | TOT Cert #9531 | Max Occupancy is 6 | 2 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies. County Rules As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement. Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement. Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time. Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night. Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone's safety. It is each guest's responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you'll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area. Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it's essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel. Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place. Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities. Office Holiday Hours The TTVR office is closed on New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding. ## Property amenities ### Ski - Cross-country skiing nearby - Snowboarding nearby ### Pool/Spa - Hot tub ### Internet - Available in the house: Free WiFi ### Parking and transportation - Parking on site ### Kitchen - Blender - Coffee/tea maker - Cookware, dishware, and utensils - Dishwasher - Microwave - Oven - Refrigerator - Stovetop - Toaster ### Dining - Dining table ### Bedrooms - 2 bedrooms - Bedsheets provided - Sofa bed ### Bathroom - 1 bathroom - Bathtub or shower - Hair dryer - Towels provided ### Living spaces - Dining table - Living room - Wood stove ### Entertainment - TV with cable/satellite channels ### Outdoor areas - Barbecue grill - Outdoor furniture - Patio ### Laundry - Laundry facilities - Washing machine ### Comfort - Heating ### Pets - Pet friendly ### Suitability/Accessibility - Smoking not allowed ### Services and conveniences - Iron/ironing board - Phone ### Location highlights - In the mountains - Near a hospital ### Things to do - Birdwatching nearby - Ecotours nearby - Fishing nearby - Golfing nearby - Hiking/biking trails nearby - Horseback riding nearby - Ice skating nearby - Jet skiing nearby - Kayaking nearby - Motor boating nearby - Mountain biking nearby - Mountain climbing nearby - Parasailing nearby - Rafting nearby - Rock climbing nearby - Sledding nearby - Snowmobiling nearby - Swimming nearby - Water skiing nearby - Water tubing nearby - Wildlife walks nearby ### Safety features - Carbon monoxide detector (host has indicated there is a carbon monoxide detector on the property) - Smoke detector (host has indicated there is a smoke detector on the property) - Fire extinguisher - Deadbolt lock ### General - Unit size: 900 square feet ## Similar properties ![Outdoor dining](https://images.trvl-media.com/lodging/98000000/97060000/97057200/97057104/65062912.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=469&h=201&p=1&q=medium) ### Pine Knolls | Private cabin with hot tub | Pets Welcome McKinney Estates - Hot tub - Kitchen - Washer - Dryer 7.0 Good 12 reviews [](https://www.expedia.ca/Hotel-Search?startDate=2025-12-18&endDate=2025-12-19&selected=97057104&PinnedHotelID=97057104&HadPinnedHotel=true®ionId=-1&adults=2) ![Terrace/patio](https://images.trvl-media.com/lodging/109000000/108380000/108379800/108379790/82aadf7f.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=469&h=201&p=1&q=medium) ### Mountain Treasure: 2 BR, 2 BA Cabin / Bungalow in Tahoma, Sleeps 6 Tahoma - Hot tub - Kitchen - Washer - Dryer 9.4 Exceptional 12 reviews [](https://www.expedia.ca/Hotel-Search?startDate=2025-12-18&endDate=2025-12-19&selected=108379790&PinnedHotelID=108379790&HadPinnedHotel=true®ionId=-1&adults=2) ![Pool](https://images.trvl-media.com/lodging/100000000/99880000/99870100/99870048/777a01c0.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=469&h=201&p=1&q=medium) ### Livin' Lodge: 3 BR, 2 BA Townhouse in Carnelian Bay, Sleeps 8 Carnelian Woods - Pool - Hot tub - Kitchen - Washer 9.4 Exceptional 17 reviews [](https://www.expedia.ca/Hotel-Search?startDate=2025-12-18&endDate=2025-12-19&selected=99870048&PinnedHotelID=99870048&HadPinnedHotel=true®ionId=-1&adults=2) ![Property grounds](https://images.trvl-media.com/lodging/35000000/34120000/34113700/34113618/72dd6716.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=469&h=201&p=1&q=medium) ### MODERN LOG CABIN-HOT TUB-TAHOE PARK BCH ACCESS Tahoe Park - Hot tub - Kitchen - Washer - Dryer 10 Exceptional 149 reviews [](https://www.expedia.ca/Hotel-Search?startDate=2025-12-18&endDate=2025-12-19&selected=34113618&PinnedHotelID=34113618&HadPinnedHotel=true®ionId=-1&adults=2) ![Fridge, microwave, oven, stovetop](https://images.trvl-media.com/lodging/64000000/63950000/63940800/63940770/aa705589.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=469&h=201&p=1&q=medium) ### Wooded Bliss in Carnelian Bay -Pet friendly, family home! Jul 31, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We loved our stay in Tahoe Pines. The cabin and back outer area were absolutely wonderful and everything was there that we needed for our week in beautiful West Shore Lake Tahoe. We walked to the pier and beach every morning and hiked the trail up the street a few times during our stay. The weather could not have been more perfect. Great restaurants are a short drive away and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. Thank you for a great 2025 getaway! ##### Jane U. Stayed 6 nights in Jul 2025 ### 8/10 Good #### Edward W. Aug 6, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We loved this home and location! Beautiful area to walk in and the private pier was perfect. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The master bed upstairs was very comfortable. Loved the hot tub, hammock and back porch set up to relax on. Also, the home was very clean! So important. Being from Texas, the nights were very warm in the home. We did figure out if you can prop the floor fan by an open window that makes all the difference. The windows face directions that a breeze is not likely. I would only suggest 3 fans total to provide for each sleeping area. For us the downstairs room was not usable for sleeping. The window opened in a way that is very visible from the road (it swings out, doesn’t slide) and felt unsafe for our 18 year old daughter on the first floor with people walking by. Both adult kids slept on the couch upstairs but that worked just fine for us. Any stay here will be amazing. Highly recommend. ##### Tiffany W. Very clean, easily accessible in winter - in the flats, just a few blocks from the lake. Stayed warm and cozy, enjoyed the hot tub, and the kitchen was well-appointed. ##### Kristin T. My adult daughters, fur baby and myself enjoyed this quaint cabin and its location. The cabin provided everything that we needed for our holiday, including a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Only drawback, we were hoping to ski at Homewood and didn’t realize until after we booked it was not open for the season. But we adjusted and skid another location on Christmas Day. ##### Michelle M. I came up with a few friends and our dog, and the folks running this place were more than welcoming! Parking in the winter is tight for 2 SUVs, but the jacuzzi and snuggly vibes of this home are amazing. Thanks for such a lovely stay! ##### Emily S.
