À propos de cet hébergement

1 Bed in Langham (oc-1733)

  • Hidden in a peaceful spot in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, escape reality at this romantic barn conversion retaining much of its charming original features, surrounded by unspoilt Norfolk countryside steeped in centuries of history that’ll make you feel as though you’ve stepped through the pages of a novel.

No better remedy for soothing weary walking toes and paws is the underfloor heating beneath the original brick floor throughout this light-filled barn conversion, boasting a warmth from its high vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork and timber frames and rustic colour palette. As the evening draws in, unwind on the sofa beside the roaring wood burner before grabbing all your local produce to rustle up a feast in the contemporary farmhouse-style kitchen/diner to dine long into the evening seated around the dining table. When you can’t resist the call of bedtime, retire to the beautifully presented en-suite bedroom for a well-earned rest before tomorrow’s adventure. Soak up the fresh countryside air by dining alfresco in the enclosed courtyard patio with some superb sunsets and clear starry skies as your backdrop.

The village of Langham is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasting wonderful walks through country lanes, in the shadow of stunning listed architecture, that you can enjoy on foot, on two wheels or with four-legged friends; join up with the trail leading to Cley-next-the-Sea (3.5 miles) to discover the Cley Marshes, offering some of the country’s best birdwatching hides. For a traditional bucket and spade day at the seaside, head east to Cromer (15.5 miles) or head 2 miles north to Blakeney to jump aboard a boat trip to Blakeney Point to spot the resident seal colonies. The wonderful Georgian town of Holt, home to independent boutiques and art galleries, can be reached within 5.5 miles.
