It was charming and seems well maintained. We had a very positive experience. The unit was very clean. We found only minor items that needed attention. The garbage can was missing a proper lid (we had to cover it with a makeshift lid to avoid insects) and the washer needed sanitizing. More basic items would have been helpful (more than 2 rolls of toilet paper).Other than that, they were extremely responsive to our needs. We would readily stay there again. ##### Rose Maria C. The mattress could be a little more comfortable, but other than that the place really is beautiful and we couldn’t have been happier. The island is beautiful. We discovered the beach on the north end near Bean Point is the prettiest but the water near the rental was nice too. It’s comparable to the beautiful waters of Destin especially up at Bean Point. The home was small but adequate for us. We did have an issue with the pool alarm initially as we had never stayed anywhere with a private pool. That’s the only part of our check in that was bumpy. Make sure you use that “bypass alarm” button. Complex management was very responsive and helpful. The walk to the beach is easy especially with the wagon.
