"I feel the bathrooms should be updated n cleaned better all ur baseboards are dirty. You should look at ur cooking utensils as they are rusted. The right hand cabinet door is broken, and I would appreciate more towels n toilet paper for bathroom."

"So close to the beach. Lots of parking. Great rates. Great pool. I would have given 5stars but I guess we were in the older section and the bathroom and furniture was worn. Everything was clean which was most important to us! The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We will come back again!!!"

"We had a wonderful week at Topsail Beach. The beach was fantastic, and we got lucky with the weather, mid 80's and nothing but sunshine all week. You have to climb a small dune to get to the beach, but not a big deal at all.The area never felt crowded unless you wanted to venture back across the bridge for dinner or shopping, but even then it wasn't bad. We will definitely consider coming to this location again.Mike B"

"Great location directly on the beach, and we loved the large table we could all sit at and the dogs loved the covered porch to people and dog watch! We could see fireworks up and down the beach, great 4th of July!"

"We've been staying at Southern Comfort since 2021. The host, Ted Waltz, treats you and Southern Comfort as though you are guests in his home. The house is comfortable, clean, well maintained and equipped. Ted is immediately responsive if there are questions or problems (rare). The description about the cottage, location, etc. are accurate. The beach is good. Short walk to "town" and various activities. Good area if you are walker for exercise. We've already reserved it for summer 2027 for "our week at the beach" for whole family."

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly what we were hoping for. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for, and the views were absolutely amazing. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our vacation. We did rent our beach chairs and umbrellas. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to stay!"
