The yard and porch were well kept and set up for comfort and leisure. The inside is full of fun historical knick knacks and art; as though someone had opened up a little time capsule and displayed its contents! The host is kind and professional. I felt very comfortable coming and going. While I did not get the chance to do the scavenger hunt or the tour, it really was so comforting to know that the host cared about whether or not I enjoyed my stay. One of my favorite features of this property was the curtain style. Both bedrooms had light blocking curtains that helped keep the room dim and I was able to relax and sleep in! There was a bald eagle nest that was easily visible from the yard and super cool to check out! I hope to stay here again next time I come out for a vacation! ##### Joyce K. Jun 20, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Nice place to stay for a few days I booked this house for a few friends while visiting Daytona, but I stayed just up the road. I did tour the house with the host (Joe - who lives upstairs) and its pretty cool. Joe mentioned a scavenger hunt, but we didn't partake. It's apparent that Joe loves history, and it shows as you walk around the house. A few things to note - the private road to the house is somewhat narrow. My F150 fit okay, but if you have a bigger or longer truck be careful. Also, the host asked that we keep the AC set above 75 as it's tied into the upstairs and can get chilly up there. Overall, they had an enjoyable experience with the host and property. ##### Zach M.
