Great location
We had a wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to nearby beach club pool, beach, restaurants and shops. Lacking some basic supplies (e.g. dish soap, face cloths, hand soap, garbage bags). Good communication with host.

Awesome stay on a Beautiful Island
Great relaxing stay at this property close to the beach in Holetown. As advertised. Beach club and pool right across the road from the house, situated in a great spot right on the ocean. Any questions we had were promptly answered by Wendy. The family had a wonderful time.

A little dated but in a fabulous location. The pool facilities and beach are excellent. Host was responsive and helpful. Good value for money.

Amazing location and easy to deal with
Amazing location in holetown. Great to have access to the private pool right next to the beach for the properties in the area. It was never too busy while we were there (end of the season / crop over). The rooms all have good air cons units that worked well (despite the extra humid weather!). Ideally the kitchen could benefit from a fan as well, but we didn't use it that much due to all the places around us. The bedrooms and living areas all had fans too which was great, plus the outdoor patio was very useful every day. Great communication with Wendy the owner and Janice who came and did the cleaning and new sheets / towels. Happily stay again!

Amazing find
Brilliant location with very short walk to beach club and beautiful small beach with very few people on it. Accommodation perfect for 6 and fabulous outside dining and lounging area. We did not see manager but Janice very friendly. Would stay again. Thank you . Easy to contact Wendy the owner.

Comfortable stay
Clean, well located and as advertised. Some small details might be address as weak WiFi signal and some extra small amenities could be added to enhance stay. All in all a lovely stay in a nice location.

Nice property
Good stay at property. Villa is more on the traditional side but is good value for money and location was very good - 100m walk to beach club and beach and supermarket a few minutes away.

Excellent location. Easiest access to beach and all amenities.
Fantastic location. Beautiful lanai. A wee bit noisy from local traffic in double bedroom if not using air conditioning! Super location. Wendy very reachable. And Janet was absolutely amazing. Cheers to Janet. She was so friendly and personable. Thanks Wendy. And thanks to Janet for making our vacation memorable and fab.

A little bit of paradise
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa which is accurately described in the listing. Supermarket around the corner and the beach club is fabulous, wonderful pool and sunbeds directly facing the local beach with amazing views, Lovely place to eat too. Some very nice beach bars and local restaurants providing good food and entertainment. Barbados is not cheap to eat out but prices were in keeping with rest of island and we offset eating out by getting the supermarket hot meals on other nights which were very reasonable. Try the ice cream parlour next to beach club, ice reams enormous you only need one scoop!! Wendy the owner was very responsive to emails and a couple of minor issues were promptly dealt with. Janice kept the property immaculately clean and was so jolly, friendly and helpful. We had big villa as 5 of us, however the annexe is wonderful for a couple. Highly recommend this villa and the location will stay here again.

Villa break
I enjoyed he outside patio area and ate out there all the time. I cooked a lot so was grateful that the utensils to cook where adequate. Convenient location for supermarket transport and use of the beach house. We ate there one night and the portions were generous and food a good standard at a reasonable price.

MY STAY IN BARBADOS
The property is nice but could be much better. One air conditioner worked but that too died after 2 days. The owner gave me a studio apt. attached to the villa. It was very nice and the air conditioner worked. However, there was a horrible sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Janice, the housekeeper bleached it, but the smell returned. Should the owner fix the air conditioners so they work properly and get rid of the sewer smell, this would be a nice property. Barbados was very hot and my family had difficulty sleeping at night.

sorry you had this happen while you stayed. one of the air con units was new and not cooling the room, unfortunately the other decided to not work. there are now two new air con units waiting to be fitted with in two days. apartment smell, this indicates its time for its septic tank to be emptied . which has now been done. very sorry you had these problems,they have now been addressed.

Perfect base for exploring Barbados
Wendy's house is perfect for a family (our kids are 15 and 18), with great facilities, a lovely outdoor area, and easy access to the beach, the beach club, tennis, the supermarket and other amenities in Holetown. Also, Hotetown is the perfect location as a base for exploring Barbados, with almost everything on the island within 30-45 minutes by car. We had a wonderful 10 day stay, and would certainly recommend the house to others.

Home away from home.
We enjoyed our 11 days. The pictures are accurate. The place is very comfortable and spacious. Through the back gate and across the street is the beach club. Great facilities bar, pool, loungers, free wifi and restaurant with the beach a few steps away. We had a minor maintenance issue which was dealt with promptly. Janice the housekeeper came twice a week and was very nice. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because we cook and eat in a lot and the kitchen equipment was a bit lacking. Overall a fantastic location, easy walk to Massy Supermarket, lots of options to eat out and good shopping. The bus is right outside your door. We would rent here again.

Great location
Me and four other grown up friends went to stay for 13 Nights in Wendy's house, and loved it. I think Holetown is the best town when visiting Barbados, and this house has the perfect location. The standard is basic, but nice, we spent almost all or time on the patio in the garden. It was nice and clean. The area felt very safe. Fran greeted us on arrival, and she was so helpful throughout our stay, looking out for us in every way she could and gave brilliant advice on what to see, where to go and where to eat. From the house, you have walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, beach club with a nice pool, and the most amazing beaches. We swam with turtles approx 500 m from the house! The reggaebuses stops right outside and they took us everywhere we wanted to go for next no nothing (1US$). One day we hired a car and drove up to the north point and down to Balsheba on the east coast. Other than that, we just used the buses to move around, and a couple of times a taxi. We did not like the Oistin Fish Fry that everyone suggested, we had gotten used to the tranquil life in Holetown. I think it is busier in the South. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Barbados, and would love to make it back and rent this house again. Liv, Norway

It was a very comfortable house with all the amenities we required.
We had a very enjoyable holiday. Wendy was very welcoming and we were grateful to her for getting our grocery provisions before our arrival. The house is very well situated to help you make the most of all that Holetown has to offer. The beach is just 5 minutes walk away and we appreciated being able to use the Beach Club across the road. We certainly hope that we will be able to have future holidays in one of Wendy’s lovely apartments.

Clean, spacious, close to beach, ideal property.
The property was 2 minutes from the beach & beach club. The bedrooms were spacious, clean & comfortable. The owner Wendy could not have been nicer or more helpful. She advised us of many beautiful places to go while there. I would highly recommend this property it truest was a home from home. I will definitely be returning.
