« This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. The breakfast you cook yourself after a easy to follow instruction. I would love to come back for more than pone night. »

« L'emplacement est top car situé dans le quartier des geisha tout en étant très calme. L'hébergement est propre, spacieux et très beau. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons trouvé la porte fermée et ne sachions pas quoi faire : aucune indication n'était notée sur la porte. Heureusement, 10/15 min, une personne est venue. Tout est parfait, mais c'est vraiment dommage que l'établissement ne fournisse pas quelques doses de lessive (comme nous en avons eu dans d'autres hébergements moins onéreux...

« I have zero complaints! The staff were amazing, the property and area it's in were beautiful, and overall it really made our stay in Kanazawa special. I highly recommend this place. Just be warned that if you have any mobility issues, the stairs going upstairs are very steep. »

« If you want to live an authentic Japanese experience, this is the best place for it. It is well located and comfortable with two floors. It is the house of a samouraï built 150 years ago but with all the modern conveniences: air conditioned in every room, TV, WiFi, fonctional kitchen and even a washer/drier. But the best part is the owner Hitty. He gave us great information about Kanazawa and Kyoto like what to see and where to eat. He even showed us some of the family heirloom from his...

« A little nice gem in the heart of Kanazawa. It's hard to believe the building was over 100 years old. Great job on the renovation. The entire suite was great for family and perhaps a group of friends. Hugh and well stocked kitchen on 1st floor, large tatami bedroom and a cozy living room on the 2nd floor. The suite was clean and extremely functional, just like staying at someone's home. Love that there were two toilets, one on each floor. A bathroom with tub was also found on 2nd floor so we...

« Lovely neighborhood, centrally located, and clean space. There was a helpful map included in the room. Most major points of interest in Kanazawa were a reasonable walk from the location. They ability to do laundry was nice after the busier parts of our trip. It is nice to have an option to sleep on tatami or a modern bed in the same space. »
