The hotel is a 20 min walk, or 10 minute cycle along the river to the Ancient Quarter of Hoi an. We were happy to stay 3 nights. We recommend and will stay again.

The staff were amazing, the position of the hotel is perfect for shops and restaurants. The restaurant offers good local food and drinks. The beach is nearby.

The hotel is in a great quiet location, but also has lots of restaurants and convenience stores within the area. To head into the hustle and bustle of Hoi An its only a nice 20min walk (or 5 min bike ride on a hotel bike). The hotel staff are extremly welcoming and caring, providing lots of reccomendations for restaurants, activities and shops (which were all spot on). The staff will also happily pre book you show tickets, tours and taxis/transport. What also really impressed us is that they remember your name and are always genuinly interested in how your your day was, what did you do and is there anything they can help you with.

Lovely hotel on the river in Hoi An
The hotel is lovely and conveniently located on the river. Easy walk or cycle to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, night markets etc. Breakfast included is tasty and includes many Western and Asian options. The staff are wonderful and helpful and very eager to please. Very happy with our stay at Lantana Riverside.

1) Manager, Ms Mile Nguyen was most helpful & attentive. Also knowledge 2) Property is quiet & peaceful but off the beaten path, thus have to cab it each time. However hotel staff will always call cab, very inexpensive & quick. All restaurants are around/inside the night market. Plenty of cabs around back to hotel. Each way is only 5mins & cost between VND30,000-60,000 ( which is really insignificant) 4) Massage /Spa services could be better

I highly recommend this wonderful Hotel! The staff went above expectations and made us feel so very comfortable. The location is excellent and we enjoyed riding bicycles along the river into the market. It is also very close to the Memories show, which is a great night out. The rooms are clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant. This is a wonderful hotel for singles, couples and families! But above all, the staff are what makes this hotel perfect. In particular, we appreciated Thuy and Mile for such wonderful service. We will be back!!

This hotel was a nice stay for our family. The pool was small but we had fun playing games. The spa was lovely and so convenient. Breakfast was fantastic and we even ate dinner here too. The happy hour was an added bonus. Being able to rent the bikes and tour Hoi An was perfect for the kids.

Lovely quiet riverside hotel
Friendly and attentive service made my 4 days very comfortable. Mile and her lovely staff are so polite and eager to please. I had an excellent massage in the spa area and enjoyed a refreshing swim in the small, but very clean and inviting, pool.

Out of the crowded center of Hoi An but close to some really good restaurants. About a 17 minute walk to the main tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfy with a balcony and a nice view of the river. Good massage. You can’t go wrong here.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful! They were very helpful and always kind. The breakfast was excellent with many Vietnamese and western choices. The room and building were immaculate. The bikes we borrowed were in good condition. We liked that the hotel was a bit of a walk from the old town, because it felt very peaceful and quiet on the riverside. However, the shuttle to town was also convenient. We also used their beach access one day, which was also very relaxing with good amenities. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Super helpful staff. We forgot money in our room and when they found it they managed to deposit it into the account of the hotel on our next destination so that we could have it back. Perfect!!
Highly recommend this hotel. The property is beautiful and everything is spotlessly clean. It’s in a wonderful location right on the river and the hotel has convenient shuttles to take you to town or to the beach. The staff were exceptionally nice. The rooms were spacious, clean and the bed was the most comfortable I slept in all of South East Asia. I don’t think I’ve ever given a hotel five stars before so this is a first.

We loved Lantana Riverside Hoi An! The staff were fabulous... all of them... all just such lovely people who genuinely care about you and your welfare, and enjoyment of your stay! Location about 15 minutes’ walk away from the Old Town of Hoi An and perfectly in a quiet area. Use the free shuttle to get to and from the ancient city or the hotel's private, or affiliated, beach. The beach is a 'must do' incidentally because the location is amazing and is backed by a family run bar/restaurant which has an amazing selection of food and drinks at great prices, served at your free sunbeds or at the restaurants tables. The restaurant has basic toilet and shower facilities, too. Although further south than the busier An Bang, it is leisurely walk along the waterline away if you need your water-sports fix. The hotel services included pretty much everything you wanted, or needed. We used the spa for treatments, massages and the like which were all really good. There's a small gym, and a lovely little pool, too. Food is great - the breakfast, something else in terms of selection, and snacks and meals in terms of prices, not unreasonable but there are plenty of alternatives locally just minutes away on foot. Lantana Riverside is faultless in many ways, and at the price, a great place to stay given the breakfast is included, and unlimited! 'Happy Hour' lasts 3 or 4 hours and cocktails start at about £4 for two. Yup, just a great place to stay. We'll be back, for sure!

Unique about this property is their staff being kindest and friendliest i have ever experienced. I don't remember all names but Laura in the restaurant made our stay beautiful by introducing us to local dishes. At the reception the two managerial staffs Mile and sales manager, i forgot her name, are second to none and helpful. Amongst others, tracy was helpful and very courtious.

Relaxing time at Latana Riverside
Why I love Lantana Riverside: -welcoming and hospitable. I really felt at home because of the kind desk staff. They helped me print out lots of my work,  which was a huge help. -The best breakfast in Vietnam. Especially the salads, which were many and all delicious. The room. Comfortable, pretty and with a decent view. For the price, the room is wonderful . -Gym. Basic, but enough for basic exercises. Fantastic friendly staff great room
Great location fantastic staff very helpful made it feel like a home away from home. Great shuttle service to nice beach if you wanted to blob out for a day or so. Fantastic breakfast excellent choice great pho. Will definitely stay again.Nice room comfortable bed.

It was initially a good experience as staff at hotel are friendly. Downside is hotel is faraway from hoi an old ancient town like 20mins to 25mins. But I could still easy get a grab. The worst part came when I took their airport transfer from hotel to airport. They changed driver in the middle of the trips (that's fine) but the driver who took over brought me to a wrong airport more for jetstar and vietnam airlines. Frantically I went around asking for directions..I am glad I made it in time.if I were to miss the flight .would the hotel compensate me for the loss? I won't return again to this hotel.

A lovely 3 nights stay at Latana. The staff is very attentive and upgraded our room for free after we experienced WiFi issues with our room. They also assisted us with booking train tickets from danang to Hue, as well as arranging private transfer to the danang train station for a small fee. One thing to be mindful is that the location of this hotel is in fact 15-20 minutes walk along the river to the centre of the old town. It is not 5-10 minutes as advertised originally - I guess is true if they are referring to the very edge of old town. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the pool, it is not massive but nice enough to cool you down and relax.

Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous If you are a light sleeper noise echos from the bottom up. I'm normally a good sleeper I could sleep through a party, however found it quiet difficult being able to hear our next door neighbours side and above. We had breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel, decent selection of food Bed was comfortable. A shuttle bus is provided free to the beach or to Hoian you just need to give them an hours notice

We stayed for 4 nights at Lantana Riverside and had a wonderful stay. The property is in a great location, right on the river. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town, which can feel a bit long in the heat, but the hotel provides shuttles at specified times to take guests there and back. It's also easy and inexpensive to take taxis to and from town. We enjoyed the quiet area that the hotel is located in, as the town is very busy. Our rooms were very attractive, well-equipped, spacious, and clean. The rooms also had great air-conditioning. The complimentary breakfast was INCREDIBLE. There were so many options, including both Western and Vietnamese dishes, and everything that we tried was of excellent quality. We really appreciated that the hotel has its own private slice of the beach (complete with umbrellas and loungers) at An Bang Beach, and provides shuttles to take guests there and back at set times. We also appreciated the hotel's very affordable bike rental service. What makes this hotel exceptional, though, is the staff. Everyone was helpful, kind and professional. A special thank you to Mile, the excellent manager who went above and beyond to make our stay special, and who was always responsive. A special thank you also to Lucky in the hotel restaurant for great service every morning at breakfast. This was one of our favourite hotels during our Vietnam trip and I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended!!
I had an amazing time at this hotel where the place was clean and comfortable. Even though my room was not facing the river, the city view was good as I was staying at a high floor. The hotel itself may be slightly away from the city centre, but it only takes about 20 minutes by walking. Staff were all very polite and welcoming. I have to give a special thanks to Joy who works at the front desk. She was extremely helpful and I could not thank her enough for solving a problem that I encountered during my trip. Well done, Joy!

Very friendly staff. Nice location by river. Shuttle bus to beach and town. Nice rooms round excellent swimming pool. Be aware the bar shuts promptly at 10.00!

Very very good hotel. Staff here were truly exceptional and service was impeccable. Great food in the restaurant and there is a large selection of food at beakfast.
