Hohwacht is free of through traffic and mass tourism - an insider tip for peace-loving people who enjoy a natural environment. Enjoy the view over the Baltic Sea - with a good view to the island of Fehmarn and with luck on passing harbor porpoises, the dolphins of the Baltic Sea. From your covered south / west balcony you look over the roofs of the holiday complex to the nearby bird sanctuary at Sehlendorfer Binnensee. Here you can also sit sheltered from the wind in the autumn-winter or spring sun when you return home from your walk on the beach. An infrared heat cabin with full-spectrum radiators helps you relax and warm up after your walk in the cooler seasons, relieves muscle pain and, at up to 60 degrees, is also suitable for people who do not like or cannot tolerate the classic Finnish sauna. The beautiful kilometer-long sandy beach is 50 meters as the crow flies, quaint restaurants, small snack bars and bistros, the fish smokehouse, sailing school and mini golf course are all nearby. Wellness Hotel Hohe Wacht, supermarket, town center and small harbor are only a few minutes' walk away. If you are after subtropical temperatures and a bit of a hustle and bustle, visit the neighboring bathing paradise in Weißenhäuser Strand, not far from the newly established Weißenhaus Castle. The Golf & Country Club Hohwachter Bucht with the par 72 course with 18 lanes in the slightly hilly coastal landscape in front of the former fishing village Hohwacht is only 4 km away. Much of the facility is open to the public. You do not need a membership in the German Golf Association here. The handicap is sufficient. You will also find a golf school here. Take some time out and relax in this comfortable apartment. Hohwacht and the Baltic Sea coast are beautiful in every season. Die Wohnung hat uns sehr begeistert. Sie ist bis ins Detail super ausgestattet und bitzesauber. Die Lage und der Blick auf die Ostsee sind einmalig. Jetzt im Winter konnte man lange Spaziergänge mit dem Hund am Meer entlang machen. Auch die Infrarotkabine hat uns begeistern. Wir überlegen uns sogar, eine für zuhause anzuschaffen. Diese Wohnung hat uns nicht zum letzten Mal gesehen. ##### Barbara T. Das Fernglas mitsamt Erklärung der bei guter Sicht möglichen Aussicht ist eine sehr schöne Idee. Zwei gepflegte Strände sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
