Kevin is a wonderful host who makes a delightful breakfast. The rooms themselves are a good size however do smell a bit musty and the carpets have some stains. The bathroom facilities were good. The parking situation and the outside of the house are unkempt and look a little unsafe. The location is fantastic, literally up the road from the CBD so you can walk to local eateries for dinner.

A short walk from Hobart CBD, inexpensive, easy check in/out, comfy bed and homely amenities. Wonderful breakfast and coffee, and last but not least a shout out to Kevin, always a wonderful host😀

Location was walkable to the harbour The bedding was good It was quiet The breakfast was very good i especially liked the tomato stew

Kevin is incredibly nice and his breakfast is delicious. The check-in and check-out were very flexible and quick which is very practical and appreciated.

We stayed in the cottage, which is spacious and secure, with its own private bathroom. The cottage is also equipped with stove, microwave, and everything you need to make a hot meal. It featured a full-sized fridge with freezer you could stock with the excellent local produce. The property is located in easy walking distance to the Wharf and city centre. We were greeted and tended to by Kevin, who was very personable and welcoming. Each morning, the breakfast (included) was cooked up by Kevin to our taste! We had a wonderful weekend in Hobart and enjoyed staying at Lowena Cafe & Accommodation.

Kevin was the best host. He personally cooked us breakfast and you could see that he genuinely loved what he was doing. I really enjoyed my stay with him. Very thoughtful man! Would definitely stay here again if i came back.

The property was quaint, cozy, and walking distance to Salamanca and the CBD which was perfect. Rooms were cozy, and the shared bathroom was spacious, with amenities to use if needed such as shampoo and conditioner. Highlight of our stay was Kevin, who was incredibly cheerful and helpful, and made us feel so welcomed. I’ll recommend staying here for the experience alone!

Kevin, the owner is very welcoming and the check-in was easy and well organised. The cottage was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great and enjoyable. The cottage bathroom is very small and looks unfinished, but the shower was good. Parking was available. Be relaxed and you will have a pleasant stay

The owner was very responsive and friendly. Breakfast was made fresh and to order. Although the property is older, it was clean and with all the amenities you need. Beds were comfortable The grounds need tidying up desperately to restore what would have been a beautiful garden area.

Kevin is a wonderful host. Choose this accommodation if you are happy to share bathroom and not too worried about cleanness. Kevin will cook you a homemade breakfast and do his best to help you during the stay. The property is old but we'll located. However, it is surrounded by busy roads so not very quiet or peaceful.

#### Tasty breakfast!

Kevin was a great host. Breakfast was really tasty. Not luxury but the room had everything we needed, small kitchen, TV etc. Bit of a walk from town but its fine. Skybus drop off/pick up is about 10 mins walk and town about 15 mins.

The king size bed was great and very comfortable. The room had a sunny aspec and felt homely. The bathroom shower had mould and needed cleaning, which WE did, the toilet and sink was very clean. Breakfast is another story which we wont go into now, having said that we were well fed. This was an enjoyable memorable experience.

Looked promising. Property is in need of a makeover. Had the Kings room with ensuite which needed some workin shower and a big clean. Was in an excellent position to Hobart central and Kevin was a fine host. Excellent breakfast cooked freshly for you. If property was cleaned up would be a great place to stay.

The owner, Kevin, was very pleasant and accommodating. Each morning he greeted us with a large hot breakfast plus coffee or tea. There was a communal, large full sized kitchen with all amenities there for our use. You must be able to walk up stairs in order to reach our room. The bathroom was not modern but certainly adequate with hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner. We’d certainly stay here again- much better than a plain hotel room which is twice the cost!

The owner is a very nice man. He's was amiable and chatty over the cooked breakfast that was included in my stay. He made me a 'double the shots' tall flat white and a cooked breakfast on sour dough toast. It's lovely old property with gorgeous gardens and outdoor seating areas, and the cafe area is almost like a conservatorium, with lots of light coming in. What the property lacked in a touch of cleanliness and maintenance, it made up for in character and hospitality.
