The property is in very poor condition: the heating did not work, the towels were not clean, and the curtain was not working, causing me to wake up at 5 a.m. due to daylight. The rooms themselves are a good size however do smell a bit musty and the carpets have some stains. The bathroom facilities were good. The parking situation and the outside of the house are unkempt and look a little unsafe. We stayed in the cottage, which is spacious and secure, with its own private bathroom. The cottage is also equipped with stove, microwave, and everything you need to make a hot meal. It featured a full-sized fridge with freezer you could stock with the excellent local produce. The property is located in easy walking distance to the Wharf and city centre. We were greeted and tended to by Kevin, who was very personable and welcoming. Each morning, the breakfast (included) was cooked up by Kevin to our taste! Beds were clean and our room spacious. We stayed in the main room and it had spacious rooms. Nice garden in the back. Also has a big kitchen with mostly everything you need.
