The room was very clean, the amenities were quite good, but the bed was a bit harder than I Personally like. But that is just me. The hotel is very easy to access from any direction. It is , afterall in North Hobart, but is really quick to get into the CBD. The hotel does have a little bit of age showing, but the smell of fresh paint, and tile work underway at the entrance would tell a traveler that things are being looked after. All the staff I encountered were quite nice and, as Tasmanians, great folks, and easy to interact with. I WILL be coming back next time I am in Hobart. I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions now and I have always found the staff accommodating, friendly and willing to assist whenever they can. My only criticism from the last visit is that the driver and passenger of a white Ford Ranger illegally parked in a no parking bay next to my vehicle caused a substantial amount of scratching and damage to my vehicle door costing $800 to repair.
