Presumably due to.Covid it is reduced to a single building with no riverfront access. Staff are pleasant but seem clueless ##### Verified traveller Stayed 2 nights in Mar 2018 ### 6/10 Okay #### Verified traveller Jan 5, 2018 Liked: Room comfort Disliked: Property conditions & facilities #### 改装中でした チェックインよりもかなり早めに行ったのですが、すぐに対応してくれ、早めにお部屋を案内してもらえた点はとても良かったです。 改装中だったためか、ほかに宿泊客も殆ど居なかったようで、無償でランクアップしてもらい、バルコニー付きの部屋を案内して頂きました。 部屋自体は小さめの間取りでバスタブもなく多少の不便さは感じたものの、バルコニー付きに大変満足しましたが、細やかな清掃（カーテンの下が埃だらけ、バルコニーのソファベッドが汚れているなど）が行き届いていない点、シャワーのみなのに排水が著しく悪い、施設内のスタッフが挨拶をしないなど、改善すべき点はたくさんあると思います。 また、改装中の工事の音が日中は仕方ないにしろ、朝8時頃から響きわたったり、施設内全体が工事の人の足跡だらけで埃っぽかったり、ウロウロしていたり、プールなんてとても利用出来る状況ではありませんでした。とても残念でした。 朝食はリバーサイドのグリーン溢れてたガーデンで、約10種類程のメニューの中からチョイスします。パンケーキやアメリカンブレックファースト、エッグベネディクトやフォーなど、ひと通りはあります。 ブッフェスタイルに慣れていると、少し物足りなさを感じられるかもしれません。 夜の食事もレストラン3軒あるようでベトナミーズやイタリアンなど、食べるものには困らず、美味しく頂きました。 1区からの喧騒を離れてゆっくりしたかったので、立地や環境は文句ないのですが、今回は工事中という事でこの評価にします。 改装が終わり、スタッフの教育など改善されればもう一度来てもいいかもしれません。 ##### Verified traveller Stayed 2 nights in Dec 2017 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Verified traveller Oct 28, 2017 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Disappointing hotel An environment far from comfortable. The friendly staff were very attentive and some spoke good English. Taxis were readily available from outside the hotel and a 20 minute journey took you into the heart of Ho Chi Min City. Suite room's balcony is perfect for tanning and resting but sofa is very very dirty. Thao Dien is located in downtown but it has quiet atmosphere. The cooking is a cheap but it has no taste. Thao Dien Boutique Hotel is absolutely stunning. Its villas are located right on the river with beautiful views of palm trees and passing boats and the hotel property is covered in gorgeous trees and plants and fountains making you feel like you are not in the city at all. The pool area is lovely as are its multiple outdoor dining areas which serve excellent food. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The spa was wonderful as well. Considering how crowded and hectic the city center can be, this was a wonderful way to stay in Ho Chi Minh City and still get a resort-like experience. It was a quick and affordable cab ride into the city center, and the neighborhood around the hotel is lovely with many shops, restaurants, and cafes.
