The reason is not because of the facility but for it's location and convenience. Also, I already know the quality of the stay so do not want to risk for another place that could be a trap. Room condition is different from the pictures displayed on the website. Design and setting is the same, just that the actual furniture is about 10-15 years older than pictures, but everything showing on the pictures are there. Check-in is just a little desk at the lobby. Services are great, the cleaning lady is really friendly and accommodating, and did a thorough job. The guy at the check-in desk is also a nice person, a bit shy but always smiling. Price is great, but so are so many other local hotels. I don't mind staying there again for my solo trip if I go back to Ho Chi Minh City again, even though everything in the room is a bit old and the hotel could use some renovation. I had ordered the room with a free mini bar - but when I got there looking for the mini bar - they said that was the 2 bottles of water on the table in the room! Hotels.com said they follow the policy of the hotels and was not able to do anything about it.
