The stay was average only., There were some positive things though, such as proximity to the market area and decent food nearby. The negative issues were that the hotel needs some repair to some defective parts in their rooms probably?

Simple budget suitable for short stay over
It's a simple budget hotel. Have some smell in the room. You get what you paid so we did not expect much from the hotel too. A short drop by would be ok.

Bad experience.. booked 2 standard room and during check in time hotel staff said room water is down which we doubt so change us to a family room.

Great stay & Above expectation
I was worry as there're some bad reviews on this hotel but I still go for it due to the great price. We booked room for 3 but got a room for four which was really great. The toilet is big with a bath tub too. The hot water does not work after a while but we told them and they fix it right away. The receptionist is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is okay too. Overall it was a really great stay.

Although the hotel location is great which is within walking distance of many main tourist attractions, food / dining and shopping, the hotel itself is a 2 star rated and is expected of the price paid. The shower in the room should have been replaced long ago and the hot water supply is inconsistent. Breakfast is average in variety and quality. Overall personal experience is one which there is nothing to shout about.

Book 2 room with queen bed but was only given 1 room while the other is a 2 single bed rooms. However, hotel changed back for us the 1 room to queen size bed room.Friendly staff. Free breakfast but not much variety but it was sufficent for such a cheap hotel.All hotel rooms heater was not working on my 3rd night 11pm stay due to short circuit. But after feedback, it was back to normal next morning. Pleasant stay whereby hotel provide bath towels, toothbrush, shampoo, cotton buds and soap with no shavers and bathing gel or lotions. There is a window within the room. Location is good whereby it is only 1 mins walk to food street, 7-11 opposite of hotel, 3 mins to ben than market, 5 mins to saigon centre and takashimaya, 1 mins walk to liveband bar a&em hotel. Overall very good location hotel valve for money

Initial good impression turned horrible
26-29 Aug 2016 Initial impression good ‘coz receptionist Trang contacted me with information on sightseeing & transport. Horrible experience on checking out. Made to pay for bottled water we did not consumed. Since it was cheap did not want to make a fuss. Stained towels & bedsheets (which we did not make). Since they could not wash off the stains by hand , wanted us to pay for replacement. Black spots were at the corners of the bedsheet which was folded and tucked underneath the mattress. Black spots could not happen overnight. We could not have caused it as it is the portion below the mattress . We couldn’t have complained as we could not have seen it as it was below the mattress. When we left the room the towels were wet but not stained. I suspected since we were willing to pay for something we didn’t consumed it would be easy to get us to pay for other things too. We refused . I been to all kinds of hotels for 20 years or so and have never had to argue until now.. The stained bedsheets means that the hotel is not that clean as we have thought. Caution: Should consider pulling out bedsheets to check for stains or spots when checking in or you may have to pay for it when you leave...for those who are still considering this hotel.

Average hotel that is walking distance to the Ben Thanh market and other places of interest. + Clean room with kettle, cold air-con for the summer heat + Fairly stable Wifi available at each floor + Visitor friendly - Don't expect too much for the complementary breakfast. - Mostly cold showers since the hot water is really really limited

Didn't exceed my expectations
They were overbooked by a large tour group and decided to move my reservation to another one of their properties (the original Ha My 1 Hotel, one block away). This was done without my knowledge, but it was suitable enough. OK if you just need a place to sleep and shower. Rooms were not super clean and the staff was not attentive, but it's inexpensive and the location is very convenient.

It was satisfying. It is strategically located in the heart of the city. I can get through places by walking. Though, it could have been sound-proofed, as I can hear footsteps, vehicles honk, people chatter and door opening & closing sound. Breakfast is nice. Internet connection is good.

my 4 night stay at this hotel
On the 1st night i stayed, someone was knocking my door. So the 2nd day i shifted down. Both rooms was clean. Water pressure/heater good. Staff was good and friendly. Will come back stay again.

Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Stayed there twice on my trip. Standard room 302 is better than Deluxe room 101. Room 101 was darker, as lights over the bed were out and wi fi weak in the room. Can not surf from bed unless you sit at the foot of the bed. Although the room 302 was smaller, with two twin beds pushed together, it was fine for a solo traveller. The standard room had excellent wi fi and I found the decor cheerier and rainfall shower shower was nicer compared to 101. No tub in 302 which was fine. I found the one in 101 awkward to get in and out. Bell boy took my bag to my room, ensured the TV and air con were working and refused a tip.

Good hotel for those on budget
Hotel staff were very attentive and provided information on the vicinity and answered my queries on the tours provided professionally. Restaurant provided nice breakfast considering the price I paid for the room, HaMy 3 has given above my expectations. Recommended for those on budget and wants to be near to the various tourists destinations.

So So for the price if compare to others hotel
I use to go HCM for biz trip monthly. But for the price we pay, can get a better one compare to this hotel. Others near by this hotel is better in the room & service.The photo for Delux room I see in the iternet & the actual I stay is not the same at all.The room is small & layout is not as i see in the photo.Dont belive what you see in the photo as the Delux room is not the same as I stay.

Right in the heart of things near Ben Thanh Market
HCMC can be a real maze in district 1. It was good to have a comfortable safe hotel that is a straight line from the Ben Thanh Market. Deluxe room is the way to go with attractive marble floors, a jacuzzi, large flat screen TV with many international channels, windows, table, desk and all quiet for a good night sleep. But, there is no full length mirror, nor a safe in room for your valuables. But there is a free use computer in lobby. Also, the breakfast wasn't that good. Doesn't matter, lots of food, coffee places and fruit stands around. The service at the hotel is excellent. Staff very good. And the travel tours suggestions at the desk were from a good agency, The Mekong River Tours are worth it. I enjoyed the small day tour. Just 2 hours away.

3nuits dans cet hôtel sordide ça nous a suffit première chambre avec fenêtre obstruée prise electriqUe avec fils apparents . wifi inexistant et pas de coffre fort alors que l on paye pour cela. On nous a change de chambre wifi inexistant et pas de coffre fort. La chambre ne correspond pas aux images.pas d insonorisation. Le petit déjeuner n existe pas il y a 4 tables pour accueillir tout l hôtel pas de pain pas de beurre etc.....petit cadeau de départ on nous a fait payer l eau....

空港からはタクシーで10ドルです。30分ほどでしょうか。 朝食はフォーと食パンのみで期待はできません。 今回宿泊した部屋は7階でしたが、地面からの高さが高くなるほどシャワーの水圧が弱くなるようでした。 従業員はフロントでしか英語が通じませんが皆さん親切で好感が持てました。 総じてコストパフォーマンスが高いです。私は1人でしたが、複数人で部屋に泊まるのであれば3つ星以上のホテルにすることをおすすめします。
