Booked the "Presidential suite" but owner changed booking prior to arrival. I noticed they had changed it and informed owner who advised that we would be getting the suite. But on arrival we received a standard apartment. Very difficult to get keys to your room. Did not get the room we reserved. Shower flooded amd the toilet did not flush. No one works the front desk. Thankfully a local helped us. Would never reserve a room here again. Also there is a sign that states its illegal for short term rental of that property. We stayed 1 night. We reserved a 3 bedroom and we got a 2 bedroom. Very very poor. When we arrived, I had a representative text me and told me we have no transportation cause it’s not 24/7 and it would normally transport one person. (We’re a party of 5). So I messaged the hotel to confirm and no response until much later. By then, we had arranged for a pick up. Not good, especially when the hotel website site states free airport transportation and especially, when I confirmed prior to leaving Canada. Also, when we arrived, the representative texted me that there’s a problem with the suite we booked and asked to move us. I had no problem as long as it was the same type of room. He then, proceeded that it was a mistake and we didn’t need to. The shower stall wasn’t draining properly, resulting in water everywhere but we didn’t complain cause we’ll just make due. We killed a cockroach and there were lots of ants crawling around and even on our night stand. I’m not sure how they appear on the 40th floor. However, on the second last day they wanted us to change suite due to leaking issue from the top that’s affecting all of suites below. We were out visiting a resort that didn’t end until 6 in the evening. But we had to cut it short to come back and pack everything to move to another suite. This new suite wasn’t quite ready for us as the cleaning lady was still inside so we had to wait to unpack.
