"It says they offer continental breakfast but they don't. They only offer muffins oatmeal packets and granola bars. The room was not very clean the shower head was disgusting I did not even shower. The pool was covered and drained. The beds were not very comfortable they are on Metal Frames and they're loud when you turn over. Not what I expected from an Extended Stay America."

"Very nice place for the money. I would definitely stay here again! You can stay here and walk to a couple of nice restaurants and the movie theater. Also a bowling alley within walking distance. Great date night staying here and not having to worry about driving anywhere for the evening."

![Barter Theatre, located in Abingdon, Virginia, opened on June 10, 1933, when the country was in the middle of the Great Depression.  Most patrons were not able to pay the full ticket price. Robert Porterfield, founder of the theatre, offered admittance by letting the local people pay with food goods, hence the name "Barter". The original ticket price for a play was 40 cents, or the equivalent in goods. In 1946, Barter Theatre was designated the State Theatre of Virginia.
