Had an excellent stay at the Granvia Hiroshima. The hotel is next door to Hiroshima Station, and within walking distance (or easy transportation) to historical sites like the Peace Memorial and Museum, and Hiroshima Castle. The dining and shopping options next door in Hiroshima Station are absolutely outstanding - Sushi Tatsu was some of the best I’ve had in my life. The hotel is quiet, and the staff very welcoming. I would recommend this to any traveler as a great mix of safe, convenient, and comfortable.

Right next to the JR Hiroshima station, Hotel Granvia Hiroshima was the perfect location if you want to minimize time moving from one lodging to another. It's a short walk from the shinkansen platform to the hotel lobby. I incorrectly booked a smoking room and it was a very unpleasant room, if you didn't smoke. To get a non-smokibg room, there was an upcharge of about USD$50 per night, considering how nice the hotel ended up, it was a bargain. The non-smoking rooms were very pleasant and located in the higher floors. We had our luggage shipped to Osaka, avoiding lugging around big suitcases on the train. The bell captain took care of all the arrangements and paperwork, even calling ahead to our next hotel, to be sure. That is excellent service (and happily, the luggage all ended up i in our room (!) at the promised time). Finally, the hotel offers a discount to eat at their restaurants for guests of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was totally worth it for about USD$20 with the discount.

Location, location!! The hotel is just next to the train station by a covered hallway basically so you wont get wet if its raining. This helped a lot for taking the train to hiroshima and then miyajima. Taxis were very closed by. The hotel is big, beautiful and very clean. Has a few restaurants there as well.

Good place to stay for proximity to the train station. Hotel was okay. Easy check in and check out. Small rooms, comfortable enough. Breakfast included was ok, not the best we’ve had in Japan but not bad! Good cappuccino at the breakfast buffet.

This was my second time in Hiroshima so I decided to stay at a hotel closer to the station making it easier to take day trips. There’s an eike shopping and dining area, multitude of 7-11, everything was very convenient. As for the hotel, standard clean hotel that had everything you needed.

Great location by Hiroshima train station. A 3-minute walk to the city tour bus (Get on/Get off) and other forms of taxi and public transportation. Hotel was outstanding. The staff equally outstanding. Used dry cleaning service--excellent. We will return to Hiroshima and the Granvia will be our place to stay on our next trip to Japan.

Directly connected to the JR station, very convenient. Connections to the suburban trains and streetcars from there also. Friendly staff. Grand older style hotel. No noise from the trains in the level 17 room.

The best and only hotel to stay in Hiroshima
The best hotel in Hiroshima. Airport shuttle stops right in front of hotel, shinkansen, jr line, shopping, eatery just literally next to hotel (sheltered). Bus and tram is within very short walking distance, ie 5mins. Even the express bus service station, ie Willer is just opposite the hotel Super convenient when you need to move around Hiroshima, tourist sights are within mins via public transport Hotel itself was clean, rooms bigger than most hotel, welcoming staff. Cannot find any reasons not to choose Granvia when in Hiroshima

Best hotel in Hiroshima
The best hotel to stay in Hiroshima. Train station, shinkansen, shopping, bus terminal, tram just at door step or very short walk, ie 5mins. Airport shuttle stops right in front of the hotel! Location was unbeatable! Great staff, makes us feel welcoming and able to give precise directions when requested! 10/10☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent location right next to Hiroshima Train Station and a variety of transportation options. The “Get On and Off” Loop bus stop is less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel. All kinds of restaurant options within the train station complex. The front desk staff, the cleaning staff, the lounge staff and restaurant staff were all outstanding. A great place to stay.

Hotel is attached to the Train station, very easily accessed. Amenities provided are excellent. Breakfast selection is very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful and can communicate in english well.
