We arrived before check in time hoping to leave our bags but staff were kind enough to check us in. That was where the joy ended. Fourth floor room. No lift. With heavy cases it was a huge struggle to get our gear to our room. The room was crazy small. 2 double beds. The room between the beds so narrow you had to shuffle sideways through the whole room. No room to have easy access to luggage. Toilet leaked. Sink didn't drain properly. Only 3 pillows for 4 people. Didn't notice till staff had left. Noise carried badly. You could hear all the guests all the time. The staff is really accommodating. The rooms are more typical Japanese style where you are blocked in and two people can’t walk by each other because it’s so small. The beds are tatami with futons. Young people may be able to handle this, but my 45- year old back didn’t do well with it. The location is fabulous. Nei dintorni ci sono ristoranti e supermercati e il quartiere turistico. Con la stessa linea di tram si arriva al museo e al memoriale. Struttura molto carina. Unica pecca non c'è l'ascensore e le scale sono molto ripide e da fare con le ciabatte di cortesia che ti offrono. Attenzione all'orario del check in perché dalle 12 alle 16 la reception è chiusa. It is also very close to a number of different sights, including the Peace Memorial Park. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Top location, close to the shopping precinct and the loop buses. Plenty of little places to eat in the surrounding streets. Easy walking distance to the Peace Park. Friendly helpful staff. It doesn't look like much from the front door but I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
