Our room, furnished in the Japanese style, had a magnificent water view. The fixtures were well maintained but outmoded. We slept on futons on the floor. The staff is super friendly and willing to help, the rooms (Japanese style) are amazing and really large. You have a view of the ocean and the Tori in Miyajima. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the private onsen was a great experience after our hike to Mount Misen. There is a very convenient shuttle to the Ferry Station. Expensive but excellent food at their Japanese restaurant. Try the oyster oyster rice bowl so that you would know famous Hiroshima oyster. Their free shuttle bus to Miyajima-guchi station is very handy. I appreciated customer service at the reception and restaurant people.
